The trailer for The Terminal List Season 2 is out, and James Reece makes it clear that he's "done running", as things have already gotten out of control. The clip also reveals a lot about what's next for him and how much his life has changed since the events of Season 1.

The Terminal List Season 2 picks up after Reece has finished the revenge mission that shaped much of the first season. He is still a fugitive and is dealing with the physical and emotional damage left behind by everything he has gone through.
But now, he is given a reason to step back into the world he knows. Freddy Strain, a former SEAL now working with the CIA, approaches him with an offer that could change his situation: a presidential pardon in return for helping with a dangerous mission.
The new trailer also shows that this will take Reece far beyond the personal conflict of Season 1. Terrorist threats, intelligence operations, and a much larger conspiracy are all waiting to put Reece into an international fight.

A look at The Terminal List Season 2 trailer and what it reveals
Fan favorite star Chris Pratt is all set to return as James Reece in The Terminal List Season 2 on Prime Video. The actor had already teased that (via Deadline):
"This season is a love letter to the special operations community."
And as you look at the trailer, it's very clear that Reece is no longer the person he was in Season 1. He's now moving from his isolated, worn-down existence toward a more prepared and operational version of himself.
At the same time, his health remains a key concern for him, as Reece is still dealing with the brain tumor and symptoms such as double vision. A voice in the trailer can be heard saying:
"Let's finish the list. Let's finish the list. You're dying, James."
Freddy Strain, played by Gabriel Luna, becomes an important part of Reece’s new journey. His offer gives Reece a possible way out of his fugitive status while also putting him in the middle of another high-risk operation.
The Terminal List Season 2 is based on Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer, and expands the story into international espionage. The action is expected to move through Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and other locations as Reece investigates a conspiracy involving terrorism and intelligence operations.
The mystery also reaches into Reece’s own past, with elements involving a former Iraqi commando, possible CIA betrayal, and connections between Moscow, Langley, and his family history.
The returning cast of The Terminal List Season 2 includes Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry. The season also adds actors including Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez and Arnold Vosloo.
