Nocturne trailer reveals a detective’s nightmare as a serial killer targets his family

Apple TV recently released the official trailer for the crime drama Nocturne and teased a detective’s nightmare after he and his family came under attack by an imprisoned serial killer. The show is about a former soldier named Jonah Lynn who works as a homicide detective. After years of dealing with violent crime in Philadelphia, he moves to a small town in Western Pennsylvania in the hope of finding peace.

Jonah's quiet life is shattered after a serial killer, Jurek Walter, threatens the town and his family. The trailer revealed that Jonah has to fight to protect everything important to him. The search for Jurek's last missing victim forces Jonah to rely on his surrogate daughter and FBI agent named Saga Bauer.

The Nocturne trailer teased a detective's descent into terror after a ruthless killer sets his sights on his family

The newly released trailer of Nocturne reveals the story of a former soldier, Jonah Lynn, who now works as a homicide detective. He moves to a small town in Western Pennsylvania to find peace after years of working in the dangerous streets of Philadelphia. But his peace is shattered after a serial killer, Jurek Walter, plans to collapse the town and targets Jonah's family.

The urgent search for Jurek's last missing victim forces Jonah to send his surrogate daughter Saga Bauer into confrontation with Jurek. The story asks how far Jonah will go to protect what he loves.

According to Digital Spy, the trailer gave a chilling glimpse of the Emmy-winner Stephen Graham in this dark role, marking his first TV appearance since he returned as East End boxer Sugar Goodson in Season 2 of A Thousand Blows earlier this year.

Apart from Graham, the ensemble cast includes Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Rory Culkin, Gary Carr, and Chrissy Metz.
