Not Daenerys but this House of the Dragon character might be the real connection between all GOT spin-offs 

So far House of the Dragon fans thought that Daenerys Targaryen was the main character who linked all Game of Thrones spin-offs. But apart from Daenerys, there was another key character shown in Daemon's vision during the show's Season 2 finale. The character had a birthmark that resembled a raven made of blood. He was none other than Brynden Rivers or Bloodraven.

If the spin-offs follow the novels, the character will become the only character to appear in all three current GOT franchise adaptations.

Brynden was revealed when Daemon's vision unfolded at Harrenhal and became the turning point of the series. Consequently, it gave Daemon the final push to let go of his pride and fully support Rhaenyra's claim. The scene also gave viewers a direct glimpse of Aegon the Conqueror's Song of Ice and Fire.

House of the Dragon character reveal: Who is Brynden Rivers?

Last night I appeared as Lord Bloodraven in an episode of House of the Dragon. For those that don't know, he's an amazing mysterious character. For those that do know, thanks for having me, I hope I did you proud! 🩸🐦‍⬛👁️ & thanks to @SophieQCasting for spotting me in the shadows!

Brynden Rivers was one of the illegitimate sons of King Aegon IV Targaryen, and therefore, his birth took place many years after the timeline shown in House of the Dragon. He carried a distinct mark on his face from birth that looked like a raven formed from blood, and this striking feature gave him the name Bloodraven. However, Ser Duncan the Tall considered the birthmark nothing more than a blotch. George R.R. Martin explained that it was closer to the outline of a raven, shaped like an ink stain.

Brynden took part in the Blackfyre Rebellions, where House Targaryen fought against a rival branch created from a legitimized Targaryen bastard, House Blackfyre. Later, he worked as Lord Commander of the Night's Watch for a period. Afterwards, he disappeared beyond the Wall, where he was believed to have stayed inside a weirwood cave that allowed him to use his greenseer powers in solitude.

Brynden's appearance in Game of Thrones

In GOT Season 4, Brynden Rivers first appeared in human form, merged into the roots of a weirwood tree deep inside the cave. But before that, he appeared as the Three-Eyed Raven in Season 1 and Season 2.

Viewers might remember him from a scene where he trained Bran to become a greenseer and later played a major role in Bran's narrative across the entire show. Bran's entire journey in GOT was shaped by Brynden, and it eventually led to Bran becoming the King of the Seven Kingdoms.

Brynden was similar to Daenerys. He was not alive during the House of the Dragon timeline, but appeared in Daemon's vision.

Brynden's appearance in other spin-offs

Brynden is expected to appear in the spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, but the news is not officially confirmed so far. He is mentioned in the conclusion of The Mystery Knight (third Dunk & Novella) and held an important position at the start of Aegon V's reign.
