One Piece Season 3 Comings and Goings: New additions and returning stars

One Piece Season 3, titled ONE PIECE: The Battle of Alabasta, is returning with some of the fan-favorite stars of the previous seasons. Additionally, the upcoming season has also added new faces to its cast, making the new season even more interesting for fans.

Season 1 of the fantasy TV show, based on manga, was released in 2023, followed by the second season in 2026. While fans still don't have a confirmed release date for Season 3, Netflix has announced that the season will be released in 2027.

Season 3 will follow the Straw Hats arriving in Alabasta, where a growing rebellion could lead to a civil war. According to the logline, Sir Crocodile and his group, Baroque Works, are behind it, and the Straw Hats will take the situation into their own hands as they fight to protect Vivi's kingdom.

Fans of the series have some good news as the Straw Hats stars are returning for the upcoming season of One Piece. This includes:

  • Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy (famous for MexZombies and The Imperfects)
  • Taz Skylar as Sanji (famous for Monitor and Boiling Point)
  • Emily Rudd as Nami (famous for Fear Street and Dynasty)
  • Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro (famous for Pacific Rim: Uprising and House of the Owl)
  • Jacob Romero as Usopp (famous for Greenleaf)

Other returning cast members include:

  • Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday (famous for Fight or Flight and Eternals)
  • Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0 (famous for True Blood and Nonnas)
  • Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday (famous for Anna and Honey Don't!)
  • Mikaela Hoover as Tony Tony Chopper (famous for Beef and Superman)
  • Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra (famous for Beauty and the Beast and Heroes)

Who is joining Netflix's One Piece Season 3 cast?

For fans looking forward to seeing new faces in Season 3, the upcoming installment has plenty of new cast members and characters to introduce. As confirmed by Netflix, the new season will include Those About to Die star Emilio Sakraya as Koza (friend of Princess Vivi) and His Dark Materials star Jamie Ward as Pell.

Additionally, fans of the Netflix series will also see Omid Abtahi, who appeared in The Boys as Dr. Sameer Shah, as Toto in Season 3. Toto is Koza's father in the series. The newly added cast members will also include Nabeel Khan, who will play Chaka in the upcoming season.

But that's not all. While Cobra Kai ended last year on Netflix, one of the series' fan-favorite actors, Xolo Maridueña, who played Miguel Diaz, will now appear in One Piece Season 3 as Portgas D. Ace. Oh, Mary! Star Cole Escola is also joining the season as Bon Clay. Alongside them, viewers will also see Daisy Head, famous for The Gray House and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, as Miss Doublefinger, an agent of Baroque Works, and Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1.

As of now, there are no confirmed departures from the main or supporting cast. One Piece is streaming on Netflix.
