Netflix has officially announced a new dual sequel series to Peaky Blinders. The sequel to the original show reveals that Jamie Bell will return with the new face of Duke Shelby, the eldest son of Tommy. The announcement was made today on Netflix Tudum.The show also features the Stranger Things actor Charlie Heaton. Charlie plays the role of Jonathan Byers. Other actors who will work in the sequel are Lashanna Lynch, Jessica Brown Findlay, and Lucy Karczewski. The story takes place in 1953, and Birmingham is portrayed to us as a city trying to rebuild after the destruction of the Blitz. The plot is based on a fierce struggle as the younger Shelbys fight for power over huge rebuilding projects in the city.Steven Knight, the original creator, is back as writer and executive producer.
