Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 is just two weeks away from its release, and Disney+ is ramping up its marketing campaign by dropping a new trailer. This two-minute-thirty-seven-second trailer spoils the basic plot point of this season. We see almost all the major events from the third book, The Titan’s Curse, in the trailer, in the specific order of the book.Like season 2, the third season will mostly follow Percy, Grover, and Annabeth as they are separated. While Grover was held captive for most of season 2, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 will see Annabeth in the same position, something that happens in the third book as well. What happens in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 trailer? View this post on Instagram Instagram PostThe trailer begins with Percy walking into the frame, in a dusty place. Then, the scene shifts to Percy trying to rescue siblings Bianca and Nico di Angelo. Percy tries to rescue the brother and sister from a monster, but Annabeth intervenes and saves the hero. But then, we see the immediate aftermath of Annabeth's captivity, as we see Percy trying to rescue Annabeth. We even get a scene between Percy and Aphrodite in which she hints that Percy might have some feelings for Annabeth, which he denies. But the highlight of this trailer is the scene in which the giant metallic man from Greek mythology, Talos, appears. Book readers know that this scene ends on a rather tragic note as Bianca sacrifices herself to take down the giant. While we don't see Bianca's death, we do see Nico sobbing and running away. Those who have read the book would know why Nico is sobbing. Early in the book, Percy promises Nico that he would protect Bianca, something he fails at. Thus, a distraught Nico runs away, blaming Percy. As that happens, Nico reveals that he and Bianca were the children of Hades, as the young boy banishes a Spartoi hunting him and Percy down to the Underworld, making him a possible candidate for the Great Prophecy. Until this moment, there were only two candidates: Percy and Thalia. Thus, the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 trailer doesn't give away these revelations, but it does feature the scenes that would lead to them. What do we know about Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3?
