Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 is on its way and fans might want to get glimpses into what's coming next. This upcoming chapter will follow The Titan’s Curse, the third novel in Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series.

Just like the previous chapter, Season 3 will also arrive on Disney+ for streaming globally. While complete details about the story are kept under the wraps, we do know that it is darker and more dangerous.

And while talking about Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3, the cast members hinted at the reunion of old friends and the goodbye to a character and a season of powerful women as well. Charlie Bushnell, who plays the role of Luke in the series teased during the show's event:

"Season 3 is the season where old friends reunite."

Then Leah Sava Jeffries said,

"Season 3 is the season where women run it."

Walker Scobell, who plays Percy also hinted that this is the season where some people get what they deserve. And if you're a fan of the Disney+ series and the original novel, you know what's coming. This time, Annabeth will be taken by Kronos’ forces, leading Percy and Grover to undertake a dangerous mission to rescue her and Artemis, who has been imprisoned.

The cast members of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 discussed the show during an event and Aryan Simhadri teased something that fans didn't expect. The actor hinted at a character death by saying:

"Season 3 is the season where we say goodbye... It's not for the show [laughs]... Like the character we all say goodbye."

This could mean that a key character might actually die in the upcoming chapter. If we look into the novel, The Titan’s Curse, one of the important figures, Bianca di Angelo dies. She's the daughter of Hades and the older sister of Nico.

In the Disney+ series, the role is helmed by actress Olive Abercrombie. However, there is no confirmation that she will die in the TV series as well. Additionally, it's not just Bianca who dies in the third novel.

Zoë Nightshade also dies near the end. She is one of Artemis’s Hunters and serves as the group’s lieutenant. Zoë is also revealed to be the daughter of Atlas, which makes her connection to the main conflict especially personal. In the TV series, this role is played by actress Saara Chaudry.

So, while the makers and Disney+ haven't directly revealed whether these two will die, there is speculation among fans. They must always be prepared for the worst, as Walker Scobell previously said:

"It’s definitely our darkest season yet... The Titan’s Curse is when it really hooks into the meat of the story."

Not only this, but executive producer Craig Silverstein also added:

"We had a lot more blood in season 2 than we had in season 1, and now the next step is death, right? People are dying, and the stakes just keep dialing up, and getting more real."

This means that violence is stronger in Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3, the monsters can be scarier, and some characters actually die. But at the same time, the creators are still carefully controlling how frightening everything becomes because they know younger viewers are watching.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 will arrive on November 20, 2026.
