Fantasy legal K-drama Phantom Lawyer is set to air its finale, where the final case is about proving Yi-rang's father's innocence. In the penultimate episode, viewers learned Gi-jung's side of the story and how Byeong-gil was the one who ruined his reputation.

Episode 16 of Phantom Lawyer will premiere on May 2, 2026. It will be broadcast at 9:50 p.m. KST on SBS TV. Along with this, the episode will also be available for streaming on Netflix, Viu, and Rakuten Viki.

Phantom Lawyer Episode 16 (finale): Release date news, time, and streaming details

The finale of Phantom Lawyer is set to be released on Saturday, May 2, 2026. It will air on SBS TV at 9:50 p.m. KST in South Korea. However, the release time in other countries will differ because of varying time zones. Therefore, in the US, the finale will be available around 10 a.m. ET/PT, in the UK around 3 p.m. GMT, and in India, at 8 p.m. IST.

The episode will also be available to watch on streaming platforms such as Netflix, Rakuten Viki, and Viu. To watch it on Netflix, viewers can subscribe to any of the following plans:

What happened in Episode 15 of Phantom Lawyer?

Episode 15 of Phantom Lawyer started from where the previous episode left off. Yi-rang finally decides to let his father recall his memories. He later learns that Gi-jung has no idea about his destroyed reputation as a prosecutor. He informs his father about Mr. Yoon's death and asks why he built a false case against an innocent man.

Gi-jung then reveals that he had actually known Yoon was being targeted by his enemies and had tried to warn the teacher. Later, the day when both of them died, Yoon had called him about finding out who was behind his false cases, and also had evidence to prove that he was being framed. However, Gi-jung failed to help Yoon out, as both of them died the same night. Yi-rang then asked if anyone else knew about Yoon having the evidence, and learned that it was none other than Do-kyung's father, Byeong-gil.

Elsewhere, Do-kyung confronted his father about being so involved in Gi-jung's case. While Byeong-gil hid the information about his involvement in Gi-jung and Yoon's death, he came clean about being the corrupt prosecutor who was trying to frame Yoon.

Later, Do-kyung warns Na-hyun not to get involved in Gi-jung's case, but she refuses to back down. On the other hand, Yi-rang gets a hold of the evidence that could prove Mr. Yoon and his father's innocence, but before he and Na-hyun can hear it, they are attacked by the infamous China Town gang.

With Gi-jung possessing Yi-rang, they beat up the gang members and protect the evidence and Gi-jung's talisman. The final episode will depict how Yi-rang proves his father's innocence amid the various forces that are trying to stop him.
