Phantom Lawyer Episode 7 recap: Na-hyeon makes a bold move, and Yi-rang loses his supernatural clients

In the latest Episode of Phantom Lawyer, Do-kyung confronts Na-hyeon about her behaviour, as although she won the previous case, she also freed all the animals from the lab to save Yi-rang's life. Now, Taebaek has compensation for it.

However, this irks Na-hyeon, and she quits the law firm, facing a similar plight to Yi-rang's. This resulted in her apologising to Yi-rang and also improved their relationship. On the other hand, Yi-rang discovered that he was not seeing ghosts anymore.

While he was excited at first, he soon began to miss them as he was unable to find human clients.

Phantom Lawyer Episode 7 recap: Na-hyeon quits, and Yi-rang anticipates a new beginning for his firm

In the previous Episode of Phantom Lawyer, Yi-rang, with the help of Na-hyeon, forced a confession out of Hyo-jung about murdering Sang-ho. While Na-hyeon won the case for Taebaek's clients, she did not complete the job as Do-kyung wanted to. To save Yi-rang's life from Hyo-jung's attack, Na-hyeon had freed all the lab animals, due to which they are now seeking compensation from their law firm.

In Episode 7 of the Netflix K-drama, due to the accusations makes a bold move and quits Taebaek. However, the decision adversely affects her life. Due to Do-kyung blocking every other law firm from hiring her, Na-hyeon finds herself in a difficult position because she is unable to pay her bills. Furthermore, she experiences the humiliation Yi-rang went through and begins to relate to him.

Meanwhile, Yi-rang realises that he has not seen ghosts for the last couple of weeks. Excited, he begins to clean up his office for the new human clients who will be visiting soon. However, no one comes. Bong-su then suggests he should go to court and give out his business card to potential clients.

Phantom Lawyer Episode 7 recap: Na-hyeon and Yi-rang's paths cross again

At Bong-su's suggestion, Yi-rang decides to find clients and go to the court in Episode 7 of Phantom Lawyer. While he initially fails to get a single client, his senior helps him out and gives him one of his cases. Later, he also encounters Na-hyeon doing the same.

As he approaches her, she tries to get away from him and accuses him of being the one at fault because of whom she had to quit her job. Yi-rang feels guilty about Na-hyeon's situation and gives his client to her. However, his senior later calls him to tell him to drop the client as they are a group of scammers.

However, Na-hyeon had already visited the construction scammers and learned about their crimes. But before refusing to take the case, she plans to collect evidence that would get them arrested and calls the police to the location. But it is Yi-rang who arrives first and tries to protect Na-hyeon until the police arrive.

Phantom Lawyer Episode 7 recap: Yi-rang tries to call for more ghost clients and gets a shocking answer

Later in Episode 7 of Phantom Lawyer, Na-hyeon goes to meet Yi-rang and apologises to him for everything, starting from rejecting his job application without even giving him a chance. They both talk about how their stories are similar, as Yi-rang wanted to be a lawyer for his father and Na-hyeon becomes a lawyer to fulfill her sister's dream.

The Episode also sees the duo come closer after bickering for almost every episode of Phantom Lawyer so far. Later, Yi-rang takes out the strange incense that previously gave him the ability to see ghosts, and lights it up. However, the revelation of the ghost this time shocks Yi-rang as it is none other than Na-hyeon's sister, who died in an accident.
