tvN's latest K-drama, Pro Bono, premiered on December 6, 2025. The legal K-drama tells the story of Kang David, a popular judge. The episode, which began with a promising future ahead for the judge, saw him resign from the higher position and become a public interest lawyer, against his own will. In the next episode, David will be seen working on his first pro bono case in the series.

Episode 2 of the K-drama will premiere on December 7, 2025. The episode will air at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN. For the international audience, the episode will also drop on Netflix globally.

Pro Bono Episode 2: Release date, time, and streaming details

The next episode of Pro Bono K-drama will be released on Sunday, December 7, 2025. South Korean viewers can watch the K-drama on tvN at 9:10 p.m. KST, while the international audience can catch it on Netflix. However, the release time will differ in other countries due to varying time zones. For instance, in the US, the episode will be available around 10 a.m. ET and 7 a.m. PT, and around 8:20 p.m. IST in India.

What happened in Pro Bono Episode 1?

The first episode of the legal K-drama shows Kyung-ho's David as a judge who was not only popular in the legal field but also among the common people. David did everything right and had a clean image, and was known to make the right decisions in the court. But it doesn't take long to learn that David was doing everything for a show and to impress others so that he could get nominated for the Supreme Court of Justice.

While he looked like an ambitious man, his backstory revealed that he was also keeping his mother's promise, who wanted him to become a successful man. However, everything comes crashing down when he finds himself in the middle of a bribery case.

He was called by a man claiming to be his childhood classmate. After sharing a few drinks, the man gave David a box that was filled with cash. However, David was too drunk to realise that at the time, but finds out about it later. He informs his senior about it, who demeans him for the act and asks him to resign before the news gets out.

At the end of the premiere episode, David joins O&Partners' Pro Bono team, where he has to fight cases of public interest. He joins the team of public interest lawyers, which also includes So Joo-yeon's character, Park Gi-ppeum, the woman who pretended to help at the beginning of the episode, to earn more votes.

In the upcoming episode of the K-drama, David will be seen fighting a case of public interest involving dogs.
