The much-anticipated Filipino mystery-crime thriller, Project Loki, is finally here, and right from the first episode, there's tension between the main characters. The series is adapted from the hit Wattpad novel written by AkoSiIbarra, the pen name of R.C. Musni (also known as Rhein Musni), which means that it already has a huge fanbase.

Loki isn't just Lori's roommate, but he's also an exceptionally intelligent and mysterious student of Clark University, who also leads the QED club. Initially, their interaction isn't good, but when Loki helps Lori expose her stalker and gets to know her more, she decides to join the QED club.
Project Loki has a total of 18 episodes, which means there might be a lot of mysteries to uncover. At the same time, Lori is intrigued by how clever her roommate is. When the two work together, they discover deeply hidden truths at the university.

What happened in Project Loki episode 1: A quick recap
Episode 1 of Project Loki is titled "Detective of Mischief," and it begins with Lori relocating from Manila. She looks sad and has no excitement over starting a new journey. It's clear that Lori is running from something that harmed her.
The moment she arrives at her aunt's place, Lori realizes that she will have to share her unit with another student named Loki Mendez. He's known for being mysterious and quiet and, at the same time, being one of the top students of Clark University.
Their first interaction was tense when Loki questioned if Lori was running away from something. He observed her enough to understand what kind of person Lori is, and even she's surprised and irritated to see how accurate his hunch was about her.
As Lori starts her first day at Clark University, she learns about various clubs. She makes a few friends, but none of them seem to be her close ones. Days passed, and Lori got worried about a secret admirer who had been leaving chocolates and gifts inside her locker.
Lori has been ignoring it, as she didn't want any chaos in her life. She then decided to explore the QED club and the moment she entered the room, Lori found Loki. Turns out, he's the leader of the same club.
Lori expresses frustration and Loki understands that it's due to her stalker. Loki offers help and tells Lori to meet him at 5:00 pm on the rooftop and find out about the stalker's identity.
When Lori arrives there, she finds Aaron there. He even tries to harm Lori and Loki recorded the video. While trying to save herself, Lori gets flashbacks from the past, possibly about the incident that left her with emotional scars. At the end of the episode, Lori clashes with Loki over the Aaron incident, as she believed he would save her first but recorded video for proof and then rescued her.
