So I’m really enjoying that kind of level of freedom."Dove Cameron opens up about her mature role in 56 Days View this post on Instagram Instagram Post56 Days is rated A on Prime Video due to the sexual content and the mature themes added in the series. It also includes violence and strong language, which makes it unsuitable for younger audiences to watch. There is strong chemistry between the main leads, Oliver and Ciara, with their first kiss happening during their second meeting outside a bar. From there on, the two clearly grow closer, and their bond develops, with the two sharing many intimate and close moments.Speaking about the adult themes and this new phase in her career, Dove added that she is finally seeing many new opportunities come her way, something she had not experienced until the past two years. The series is directed by Karyn Usher and Lisa Zwerling and is based on the novel of the same name written by Catherine Ryan Howard. Dove Cameron, in another interview with The Wrap, added that being around women who directed the scenes was very comforting for her, adding:"It was very helpful for me when it came to the intimacy scenes, because everybody was just so on our side, everybody was so helpful, so kind, so protective."56 Days has eight episodes in total revolving around the murder scene and a couple who are clearly hiding secrets of their own. Ciara, whose real name is Megan Martin, plans the whole thing of meeting Oliver and trying to get close to him to find justice for her brother, who takes the fall for Oliver. At the same time, Oliver also lives under a different surname, as he is St. Ledger in real life and not Kennedy and has killed a man. While the police think that the dead body could be that of Ciara or Oliver, it was that of Dan Troxler, who influenced Shane's decision to end his life.Dove Cameron's character, Ciara, is not only bold but also very strategic and clever in the complete series, keeping an eye on every small detail and all about taking revenge for her brother.Dove Cameron, during the interview with WWD, added that she loves taking the role of characters that feel more human to her, adding that Ciara is:"A deeply complex character. I’m always drawn to characters that need a little bit of defense."56 Days is streaming on Prime Video.Follow Soap Central for more updates!
