iQIYI's upcoming Chinese drama, titled Rebirth, is all set to release in April. Directed by Lu Hao Ji Ji, famous for Moonlit Reunion and Generation to Generation, the upcoming drama, also known as Frozen Awakening, falls under the historical and political genre.

The drama is mainly for the fans of Chinese drama who love the themes of revenge and strategy. Viewers will see Li Yun Rui as Zhuge Yue and Huangyang Tian Tian as Chu Qiao in the main roles.

This is Li Yun Rui's first drama of 2026, where he is appearing as the main lead. He appeared in the support role of Generation to Generation, released in February this year. His other famous works include The Last Immortal, Blossom, and Go Back, Lover.

Rebirth is the sequel to the Chinese drama Princess Agents. The story of this upcoming Chinese drama revolves around Chu Qiao, who loses her close friend Zhuge Yue during a battle, leaving her with scars. To avenge his death, she decides to take revenge and comes up with a plan, only to suspect that her friend might still be alive and not dead.

While she prepares to find the truth about the same, her plan gets disrupted by Prince Yan Xun, who starts a war between the four kingdoms, leading to a difficult situation.

As the story continues, Chu Qiao deals with both, finding her friend while dealing with the war situation.
