In this Irish horror comedy film, Anthony Head played a veteran vampire hunter, Henry. The character did not chase vampires because of old traditions. His fight was personal and he wanted revenge.

Henry hunted a certain group of vampires because his fiancee, Sheila, was turned into one during a wild party in Romania. Then she passed the curse on to others.

Henry is shown as dry and cynical in a funny way and is not like the usual brave vampire hunters. In addition, he acts cruel and wild when facing other vampires with no pity at all. The rule is simple for him: if you get bitten, you get a stake to the heart.
