HBO's comedy series, Rooster, is back with a fresh episode this Sunday. Starring Steve Carell, the show delves into the life of Greg Russo, a bestselling author who visits the Ludlow College for a reading session. However, he decides to take up the role of the writer-in-residence to save his daughter's job. Katie, Greg's daughter, burnt down her husband, Archie's, college residence after she learnt that he was having an affair with a student called Sunny and that she was pregnant. Katie was suspended from college.In the previous episode, we saw Katie having a hard time, and she requested Professor Shepherd, the interim Dean, to reduce her suspension time. As soon as he takes his seat in the cabin, Walt enters and invites him to a faculty bar night. Walt's wife, Joanie, is back from Japan, and he wants to celebrate her return with the faculty members. Greg wasn't quite interested in attending the party. However, Walt does not leave him with much choice. Katie encourages Greg to go on a casual date, but he ends up at a frat party instead.In Rooster Episode 4, Tommy chooses to write about Greg as his favourite author in his latest writing project. Greg initially rejects the idea, but he later agrees to it. Turns out, Archie thinks Tommy is using AI to write the essay. Professor Shepherd gives him a midnight deadline to submit a fresh essay, and Greg wants to help him out. However, Walt shuts down the library since he knew that Greg would do anything to avoid his party.Thus, Greg ends up at a frat party with Tommy and his friends. Greg plays beer pong and has an absolute blast at the party. It looks like he enjoys being among the students rather than with the faculty members. Greg never had the opportunity to do such activities since he never attended college. Initially, Greg attempts to attend Walt's party for a while, but he mistakenly makes fun of Joanie's kimono and leaves midway. He is a misfit among the faculty members. When he joins the frat-themed party, he has an absolute blast. He bonds with Tommy, who then reveals that even though he thought of him as an outsider, he turns out to be the perfect townie.
