Episode 3 of the third season of School Spirits, titled 'The Halls Have Eyes', was released with episodes 1 and 2 exclusively on Paramount+ at 12:01 a.m. PT and 3:01 a.m. ET. The new episode shows us that the investigation into the Split River High's supernatural foundations reaches a breaking point. The episode opens with Simon (played by Kristian Ventura) insisting that he needs to climb down into the hole. A living person saw Mr. Martin when he went down there, and thus, he has to try.

This new season is an emotional one based on how things are playing out now, and therefore I think it is the last installment of the show.

School Spirits: Simon and Maddie's mother's story

The Halls Have Eyes begins with a scene showing Simon freaking out about what Mr. Martin told them in the previous episodes. He believes the hole in Mr. Maartin's scar might be his way back to the world. We also witnessed traumatization in Quinn. It is caused by what Mr. Martin revealed and the others are also upset about the whole thing. Maddie tries to shift the focus so the group can share ideas instead of only following Simon.

The episode also showed Mr. Martin's exterior scene, cleaning a stone. The stone is revealed as a memorial for the children who died in the Quinn bus crash. Moreover, at home, Sandra becomes obsessed with tracking Maddie. She starts spying on her phone and again starts using an app to follow her every move. Maddie finally breaks down and searches for alcohol in the kitchen, accusing her mother of being drunk. She rudely behaved with her mother and said,

“You’re the reason I was hurt in the boiler room.”

Maddie is trying to connect with her dad through Xavier. She is looking for love in a place where she cannot really get it, though. She misses her dad, but her mother is right there. Maddie and Xavier start spending more time together and it looks like Xavier hopes he might win her back.

Hidden truths and revelations

Episode 3 of School Spirits also showed us that Nicole starts to spend time with Livia and her friends. It seems like Nicole is pretending to dislike Claire and Maddie. She is invited to Livia's party but realizes the girls only want gossip about Maddie. Nicole, in a drunk mode, admits that she likes Jason. This activity embarrassed Jason and forced her to leave from there. Before leaving, she calls Claire and ends up in Deborah Hunter Prince's office. In the office, she found out about Deborah's plans to build a skyscraper on Split River High.

Meanwhile, Yuri tells Charlie that he made Julie pregnant in school and may have a grandson. Rhonda shares her past with Quinn, and they take a photo that shows them as invisible.

In School Spirits episode 3, we saw Simon walks into the dark basement with a rope tied around his waists. The rope gets cuts and returns to Wally. Simon observes a strange shape on the water. His light flickers and goes out, but he stays calm and tries to move carefully in the hope of discovering the truth.
