Episode 13 short recap and what Episode 14 of Sheriff Country will be bringing to the table next week!

Episode 13 truly had us hooked right from the very start because of the 2-hour crossover with Fire Country.

What started with a bus explosion turned out to be a mere distraction (for something far more dangerous). The actual nightmare came from all of the kids who were kidnapped and were being kept somewhere underground.

Mickey and the rest of the team were genuinely racing against time while dealing with ransom calls and mind games from the suspects.

Search teams, including Boone and Bode, comb through the woods and quarry, eventually suspecting hidden underground locations. The horrifying truth comes up: The kids have been buried alive.

With time running out, the families now await answers.

Episode 14 of Sheriff Country now shifts to a new threat. The official synopsis reads,

“During Edgewater's Blood Moon Festival, Sheriff Mickey races to stop a suspected serial killer targeting young women; a shocking discovery propels deputy Cassidy into the crosshairs of the case.”

This is where things get uncomfortable, because of the festival, a place that show should feel safe, but instead it becomes the perfect cover for something dangerous.

Cassidy’s role is also a big factor in Episode 14 because the synopsis basically confirms she’s directly involved and is at a possibly at risk.

So while Episode 13 was about saving lives, Episode 14 feels like preventing something before it can actually even happen in real time.

Episode 14 of Sheriff Country will be released on April 10 at 8 PM on CBS, with streaming on Paramount+.

This time, the story trades a crisis for a wider threat moving through a crowded festival, with Mickey chasing a killer, Cassidy being directly involved, and the crowd at the festival itself becomes part of the problem.
