Sins of Kujo ending explained: Arashiyama's motive

In Sins of Kujo, Arashiyama's motive was deeply personal. According to him, the yakuza were behind the daughter's murder, and that Kujo's ties to them made him part of the issue. His guilt over neglecting his daughter pushed him to seek justice at any cost. He wanted to expose the truth, punish those responsible, and prove that her death was not random.

This motive shaped the ending of Sins of Kujo. His obsession with connecting Kujo and the yakuza to his daughter's case drove the final conflict. His determination revealed hidden connections and forced Kujo into a corner. The show closed with Arashiyama's pursuit of justice becoming the central thread, highlighting that his personal vendetta was not only about solving a crime but also about redemption.

Possibilities of Mibu's trouble in Sins of Kujo Season 2

Mibu is definitely going to be in trouble in the show's upcoming season. In the ending, the viewers witnessed that his plan to take down Kyogoku had already gone off track due to Inukai's reckless move. Inukai dragged Kuga and Mibu by kidnapping and killing Kyogoku's son. Even though Mibu tried to stay calm and play smart, he is now tied to a crime that will make Kyogoku furious.

Season 2 of Sins of Kujo will probably put Mibu in a fight for survival. If he finds the truth, the Kuga and Mibu could be hunted down by the gang. Moreover, their only options are to work with the cops or go head-to-head with the yakuza gang by covering their tracks. None of these decisions guarantees safety.

The revenge plan of Mibu has backfired, and currently, he is trapped between the gang and the law. His trouble is certain, but how he handles it will decide if he lives or dies.

Sins of Kujo Season 2 expectations: Karasuma's choice

If Kujo ends up in court, Karasuma will probably defend his mentor. Even though he chose to part ways due to moral differences, his admiration and respect for Kujo never faded. If Kujo is framed while protecting his daughter, Karasuma's loyalty as well as sense of justice could push him to step in. Consequently, it will create a powerful twist in the second season.

Karasuma standing by Kujo in court will show that their bond is stronger than their differences. It will also show the theme of loyalty and principle against crime and corruption.
