Siren's Kiss episodes 9-10 recap: Seol-ah is cleared as a new suspect and a deadly vault mission raises the stakes

Siren's Kiss has reached a dramatic peak as Seol-ah and Woo-seok have yet to discover the true criminal responsible for Su-ho's murder. And now new secrets concerning the chairwoman have been uncovered. The secrets are with Seol-ah and Woo-seok alone, putting both of their lives at risk.

The most shocking discovery made in the entire story is the true identity of Su-ho. The man believed to be Jun-beom is really Su-ho who has had plastic surgery after the death of Jun-beom only to get revenge against Seol-ah.

But now, even he is dead and Woo-seok doesn't know why someone would kill him. He manages to get Seol-ah out of prison and now the two are preparing for the worst.

Siren's Kiss episode 9-10 recap: Seol-ah becomes the prime suspect and gets arrested after Su-ho's death

The plot in Siren's Kiss episodes 9 and 10 begins soon after Su-ho has been killed. Seol-ah is found sitting next to Su-ho's dead body and because of this, there is a great deal of suspicion cast on her. Joo-young comes out to confront Seol-ah with a gun.

She then shoots at Seol-ah as she won't stop walking. Woo-seok was right there and got injured instead, proving he would risk his life for her. Seol-ah is then taken into custody after this incident.

Seol-ah remains silent during her interview. Woo-seok has a hard time accepting what Seol-ah said, as he knows there's more to learn about the incident. He starts the investigation of the crime scene, where he observes that the electricity was intentionally shut off and there is some physical evidence that points to an additional suspect.

The results of the forensic investigation also reveal that someone else was also there. It was someone with notable physical strenght and there's no way Seol-ah could possess such toughness.

Initially, in Siren's Kiss episode 9, Seol-ah worsens her situation by falsely confessing to multiple murders to push Woo-seok away or to protect him. However, she finally reveals what happened: Seol-ah found Su-ho dead after the blackout.

She tried to save him but failed. Woo-seok also suggests a theory that the culprit might have triggered Su-ho’s peanut allergy through his drink and then killed him after the lights went off.

Siren's Kiss episodes 9-10 recap: Secrets and power games begin

The case continues in the latest episodes of Siren's Kiss and one thing is clear: the situation is not just about murder, but also about power and control. Chairwoman Kim’s reaction says a lot. She barely shows concern for the death and instead focuses on protecting the valuable Stiller painting.

She ensured Seol-ah gets legal help not out of concern but to make sure the situation is in control and her business is unharmed. At the same time, Seol-ah wants Woo-seok to stay safe. She tries to push him away, but Woo-seok knows what he is doing.

Later, Eun-hye mentions that her brother has always neglected her for Seol-ah. She doesn't like her at all and wants Eun-hyuk to stay away from Seol-ah. Things get complicated when it is revealed that Su-ho arranged for the Stiller painting to go to Seol-ah after his death. At the same time, hidden links between Sun-ae and Hyun-su start to emerge.

Siren's Kiss episodes 9-10 ending explained: A high-stakes break-in turns into a trap for Seol-ah

The story takes a sharp turn in episode 10 of Siren's Kiss when Seol-ah and Woo-seok discover that Sun-ae is hiding stolen paintings inside a secret vault. Knowing this could expose everything, they decide to take a huge risk and break in to collect proof.

They manage time by trying to break in when Sun-ae is away and busy during an auction. Seol-ah decides to go inside and Woo-seok guides her. She faced issues in figuring out the password of the vault but finally got it unlocked and carried a hidden camera with her.

However, the situation goes out of control when the door locks behind her and an alert is sent out. On top of that, her communication with Woo-seok is suddenly cut off, leaving Seol-ah completely on her own.

Despite this, she continues to explore the vault and finds a painting connected to her father. This shocks Seol-ah as it hits her emotions. She then tries to get out but the exit code is different.

By the end of the episod 10 of Siren's Kiss, someone enters the vault and Seol-ah hides. It wasn't revealed who the person is, but if it turns out to be Sun-ae, Seol-ah will be in danger.
