Six Singles Under One Roof is one of tvN's successful reality TV series, which follows six well-known celebrities, all of whom have been single and living alone for many years. They all move together in Seoul's Gugi-dong neighborhood, and instead of focusing on love, the show explores friendship.
It shows what happens when a few adults choose to share a home and build friendships while keeping their individual lifestyles. The cast has three men and three women, most of whom are in their 40s.
Interestingly, each of them has a strong personality, holds years of experience in living alone, and has established habits. The first chapter was a hit, and now a season 2 for Six Singles Under One Roof has also been renewed for tvN.
This means that fans who loved the six contestants and their journeys while living with different people must prepare to dive back into the reality show. As of now, there's no update on who will be in Season 2.

tvN has confirmed Six Singles Under One Roof Season 2
tvN has officially renewed Six Singles Under One Roof for a second season, giving fans more of the shared-living reality show after the successful run of its debut season. The announcement came shortly after the first season concluded on June 12.
In the first season, viewers were introduced to six contestants: Jang Do Yeon, Lee Da Hee, Choi Daniel, Jang Keun Suk, Ahn Jae Hyun, and Kyung Soo Jin. They have lived alone for most of their lives and are single.
This move became a big change for them as they stepped away from their usual independent lifestyles and began living together under one roof. There's no competition or rivalry between these contestants as they mainly focus on knowing each other and forming friendships.
While many enjoy the freedom that comes with living alone, they can also experience moments of loneliness. The production team of Six Singles Under One Roof said:
"Rather than trying to conclude whether living together is good or bad, we simply wanted to comfortably show the real experiences of friends sharing a home."
The team continued:
"Living together has both advantages and inconveniences, but we hoped to convey that this can be another way of living. We’re personally proud that viewers seemed to relate to and enjoy that aspect of the show."
They explained that they wanted to present an honest look at what it is like for friends to share a home. Since the announcement has just been shared, there's no further update on the cast and release date.
Six Singles Under One Roof Season 1 had ten episodes, and the next chapter is also expected to have the same number of episodes. The last chapter showed their last days, moving out, emotions, and a sports day with guests. Cast members like Jang Do-yeon and Jang Keun-suk were highlighted as they wrapped up.
