Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 4 recap: Diana Taverner accepts a dangerous deal

Things looked grim for Diana in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 4. After receiving orders from a woman named Natasha, Damien Cantor visited Diana’s house. He warned her of an impending phone call, making it clear that refusing to answer could have serious consequences and exposing the leverage he held over her.
Diana's problems did not end there. According to FilmiFeed, Diana was confronted by Oliver Nash, the Chairman of the Limitations Committee, about her recent television interview. Nash had been looking into the matter in Russia and revealed that his findings connected the deaths of the Slough House Agents to the death of a woman connected to Russian Intelligence, which made him think it was likely a revenge plot. Oliver warned Diana that the Committee will review the matter, meaning Diana's job is in danger.
As mentioned by Damien, Diana received a phone call from Vassily Rasnakov, a senior GRU officer, who believes that Sid Baker was responsible for the death of the woman. Vassily threatened Diana, saying that if she handed over Sid, his assassins would stop targeting the agents.
Lamb met Frank in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 4
Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 4 featured another subplot of Lamb using Reece Nesmith to lure Frank out. After Reece called Damien and demanded £100,000 to keep his mouth shut about his father's murder, Damien delegated this task to Frank.
Frank Harkness agreed to meet with Lamb at a Shake Shack, where the Slough House leader confronted him about the recent deaths of his agents. While Frank denied any involvement in the operation, things took a turn when Reece escaped from Flyte's house and arrived at the Shake Shack. After Frank's men caught Reece, Lamb offered to give the child up in exchange for intel. But Lamb created a public disturbance that distracted Frank and his men, buying him time to escape with Reece in Flyte's car.
JK Coe died in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 4

Sid was convinced that contacting Diana was the solution to her problem when the trio arrived at a shopping center in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 4. While Sid and River bickered, Coe spotted Jim and followed him into the bathroom. Coe learned that Jim was connected to GRU, but he ended up in a knife fight with the assassin, which led to his shocking death. While River arrived on the scene, it was too late for JK Coe and he became the latest casualty.
In the final moments of Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 4, Sid was adamant about contacting Diana, unaware that she had accepted Vassily's deal. It turns out Diana had decided to give Sid up to contain the larger crisis and secure her job. Sid's attempt to contact Diana proved to be dangerous for her. Diana ordered the call traced and disconnected, giving up her exact location to Jim and Jane. While Diana was aware that Sid had no hand in the Russian operation, she made her a scapegoat and practically served her up to the assassins.
The episode concluded as the assassins closed in on Sid, stuffed her into their vehicle, and drove away. While River watched in horror, it was too late to stop the duo.
