Slow Horses Season 6 reunites River and Sid Baker as assassins close in - Episode 3 recap ahead

Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3 is titled Resurrection and was released on Apple TV on September 30. The latest episode of the platform's spy thriller picked up in the aftermath of Sid Baker's return, seemingly from the dead.

River was naturally shocked to find Sid (and not his father Frank) at his grandfather's house. While Sid was upset with River for not reaching out to her, River maintained that she was pronounced dead in the Slough House. Their reunion was cut short as they realized Jim and Jane (the assassin duo) were hot on their tail.

According to Ready Steady Cut, the Slough House agents went dark in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3 after the Blake Grave protocol. But Roddy Ho and Jackson Lamb teamed up to search for Reece Nesmith, who provided some useful intel on his dead father, Andy.

Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3: Sid Baker connects the dots

River and Sid Baker's bantering reunion was cut short in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3 when they realized Jane and Jim, the assassin duo, were still behind them. River and Sid found shelter in a seemingly abandoned house and met an old lady named Anne there. Anne was initially suspicious of the pair, but she eventually came through when they flashed their ID cards. Once the assassins were out of sight, Sid found a computer and used it to confirm her suspicions about the duo. Turns out, Jim and Jane are Russians who are likely after Sid and the Slough House for revenge.

Sid Baker recalled getting travel documents under her name to Russia. When she inquired with the Park, she was told it was just a system glitch. But some days later, Sid learned about a woman who was shot dead in Russia, and her death was staged as a robbery gone wrong.

Sid proposed a theory in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3: somebody killed that woman in her name in Russia, and the assassin duo is likely seeking revenge for the death.

Lamb confronted Diana in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3

While the Slough House agents went dark in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3, Roddy and Lamb managed to find Reece Nesmith, the son of Frank's latest victim. While the kid was unbothered by his father's death and was not willing to cooperate with Lamb, he provided some useful information. According to The Cinemaholic, Reece gave Lamb his father's phone and revealed that he stole important files from the Park, on Frank's orders.

This was Lamb's cue to confront Diana, and he was quick to arrive in her home garden. Diana was naturally agitated by Lamb's presence in her house and maintained that the Slough House agents' deaths were mere coincidence. But Lamb dismissed her theory, revealing that their physical and digital records were erased from the Park's servers, suggesting someone is specifically targeting Lamb and his agents. Lamb left Diana's house after suggesting the operation is likely revenge for something Diana did.

Moira was rescued in Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3

Once the Blake Grave protocol was activated in Slow Horses Season 6, Shirley and Standish were tasked with collecting former agents, while remaining in the dark. Their first stop was Louisa, who worked as a corporate executive. While Louisa was unbothered by the Blake Grave protocol, Shirley and Standish dragged her from her boardroom meeting, presumably saving her life.

Once the trio reunited, their next stop was Moira, who became Jim and Jane's target in the previous episode. The agents quickly realized there was a gas leak at Moira's place, but thankfully, the MI5 Agent was alive. The trio dragged Moira from the poisoned house just in time and managed to save her life. Upon realizing the gravity of the situation, Louisa got a gun from Marcus' underground weapons dealership, which will likely come in handy in upcoming episodes.

The final moments of Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3 saw Coe picking up Sid Baker and River from Anne's place. Before returning to safety, Sid suggested finding a payphone and contacting Diana about the latest developments. While River suggested Diana might be responsible for the whole operation, Sid was adamant. The trio entered a bowling alley to find a payphone, with Jim and Jane right behind them in the parking lot.
