Apple TV's Slow Horses is considered one of the most acclaimed spy thrillers right now. Adapted from Mick Herron's Slough House novel series, the show first premiered in 2022. It follows the story of a group of rejected MI5 agents under the supervision of Gary Oldman's character, Jackson Lamb.So far, 5 seasons of the spy thriller have been released, with Season 5 premiering recently in 2025. The recent season is also among the most important ones, as it provided a rare look into the past of Oldman's character Jackson Lamb when he was an active field agent. But this won't be the last, as Christopher Chung, who portrays Roddy Ho in Slow Horses, recently teased in a Radio Times interview that Season 6 will reveal more about Lamb's past. However, he did not provide more details about what we will learn more about the unkempt and rude leader of the Slow Horses.More on this in our story.Slow Horses star Christopher Chung teases details about Lamb's story in the upcoming Season 6 of the British spy thriller View this post on Instagram Instagram PostIn Slow Horses Season 5, Gary Oldman's character, Jackson Lamb, shared a story about an MI5 agent while being kept on lockdown by the Dogs. He shares a story about an agent who was horrifically tortured by the German intelligence, the Stasi, during the Cold War.The torture included not just physically harming him but also mentally, as they also brought her lover, who was pregnant with their child, there. She was burned and brutally beaten to death in front of him so that he would speak up. However, Lamb further shared that they still did not find the information they wanted, as the agent genuinely did not know about it.Like many viewers, the characters also thought that it was Lamb's own story; he did not confirm it. However, at the very end of Slow Horses Season 5, Jackson Lamb's scarred foot is shown, confirming that he was, in fact, the agent tortured by the Stasi in that story he shared.Revealing something from Jackson Lamb's past is a rare event in the series, and Season 5 provided an important detail. However, as confirmed by Chung, this will not be the last bit of Lamb's story we get in Slow Horses, as Season 6 will also give us more. In the Radio Times interview, Chung stated:"I think what's really great about the show is that we unpeel a layer every season of every character. So you learn a little bit more as the audience and you also get a little bit more character detail. So I think, with Gary's character in particular, there's so much more to uncover about him and we are just showing you a little bit at a time - keep you engaged."There will be many more changes in Season 6, as Kristin Scott Thomas's character, Diana Taverner, has become the First Desk of MI5; whether it will be good news for Slough House agents or bad, we will find out when Season 6 premieres.Keep reading Soap Central for more such updates. Also Read: “Hyacinth is really trying to join in”: Bridgerton star Florence Hunt discusses her character’s ‘desperation’ to join her elder siblings in Season 4
