In The Night Agent Season 3, Peter is not involved with anyone romantically after his heartbreaking breakup with Rose at the end of the second season. He also went through a difficult time after Catherine died in the second episode of this season, putting him in a role of leadership. It is a propelling factor that helps Peter grow as a character.

Basso, while discussing Peter’s romantic relationship, notes that though Peter and Isabel work closely in the third season, they do not have any romantic relationship because Peter “loves Rose,” and just because Rose is not here, he is not going to take on a different path.

Rather, Peter is at a point in life where he knows the importance of his job. “Rooting out corruption and doing the right thing” is something that he is eager to do. However, ultimately, he “would probably try to find Rose again”.
