St. Denis Medical Season 2 finale recap and ending explained: Bruce gets concerned for Ron while Matt tries to speak from the heart

St. Denis Medical Season 2 finale brings forth a heartwarming conclusion to the storyline of the second season. A distinct aspect that makes this series such an intriguing one is the manner in which it depicts the struggles of the characters.

Each and every character in the series has their own set of struggles, which they navigate through in a hilarious manner. St. Denis Medical season 2 finale unveils more of Ron’s situation, along with his dynamic with the other characters.

Bruce gets concerned for Ron while Matt tries to speak from the heart in St. Denis Medical Season 2 finale

Episode 18 of St. Denis Medical Season 2 starts with Ron waiting in the hospital for his surgery. Joyce arrives with a tray full of delicious food for him. However, the moment she enters the room, she remembers that Ron will not be able to eat the food. Joyce just wants to make sure that Ron has everything that he needs before the surgery.

It cannot be denied that this episode perfectly captures Joyce’s distinct caring nature and her concern for Ron and his health. This episode of St. Denis Medical Season 2 continues with Alex sorting the work for the team while also asking them for their contribution to Ron’s care package. Alex then continues to speak about how significant Ron is to her.

She opens up about the things that Ron said to her when she first joined the hospital. Alex then asks everyone to sign the get-well card for Ron. However, Val is not eager to sign the card. She thinks that Ron is not going to make it. Val wants to stay prepared for the worst. So if Ron makes it out of the surgery, it will be a happy surprise for her. However, if things go wrong, Val would be mentally prepared for it. It would be easier for her to accept the situation.

Matt begins to worry after hearing Val's words. This episode of St. Denis Medical Season 2 continues with Bruce asking Ron’s doctor about the surgery. However, things take a turn after the moment he hears that the doctor was in Las Vegas the previous night. He gets worried.

He thinks that she might not have gotten a good night's sleep. The lack of sleep might eventually lead her to put Ron’s surgery in jeopardy. On the other hand, Joyce tries to make Ron comfortable before the surgery. She takes a comfortable pillow with her to give to Ron. Right the moment she enters Ron’s room, she finds Ron in a situation that puts both of them in discomfort.

The finale of St. Denis Medical Season 2 continues with Matt asking Serena to have a conversation. In the previous episode, the two of them finally were able to share a heartfelt kiss. Matt is quite disappointed that he was not able to say anything romantic to Serena. Serena also opens up about enjoying the moment they shared.

She also notes that she did not expect Matt to contact her all weekend. On the other hand, Alex continues preparing for Ron’s care package. Right at that moment, Joyce arrives and tells Alex that she walked in on a patient when they were naked.

However, Alex is not phased by her words, unaware that the patient is actually Ron. On the other hand, Brandon arrives in Ron’s room to uplift his mood. However, it does not help Ron. This episode of St. Denis Medical Season 2 continues with Alex trying to speak with Ron, only to find a long line of visitors waiting outside his room to speak with him, which is nothing short of a nightmare for Ron.

This episode of St. Denis Medical Season 2 progresses with Ron getting more and more irritated by the people coming into his room to meet him before the surgery. Bruce, on the other hand, decides to test the doctor supposed to do Ron’s surgery, as he is worried about whether she will be able to perform the surgery properly. He takes the hair sample from the doctor and sends it to the lab for drug testing.

When the doctor confronts him, Bruce tells her that he cannot lose Ron, as he is close to him. This moment brings forth an emotional note amongst the hilarious turns of events. It can be understood that Ron is extremely important to each and every person in the hospital.

On the other hand, Alex finally finds Ron. She then waits with him before the surgery. Ron then tells Alex that he wants her to tell his children about his surgery, as he did not want them to worry. Ron’s words make Alex extremely emotional.

This episode of St. Denis Medical Season 2 ends with Bruce watching Ron’s surgery while everyone waits outside. While the surgery continues, Val, Joyce, Matt, Alex, Serena, and Bruce wait outside the room and discuss their heartfelt moments with Ron. At the very end, Matt and Serena are also able to discuss their kiss and clarify things. Ron’s surgery is a success, and he is all set for a steady recovery.
