The emotional stakes rise fast in Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4! It continued the story that was being built on the show with an emotional aspect, and the greatest turnout of the story. No overly dramatic plot twists or over-the-top character story developments.

However, saying that it also appears quite clear from Sullivan's Crossing season 4 episode 2 that Liam is coming back and that they have some story between them to develop, which has become such an overwhelming problem that they cannot avoid or delay it any longer.

This episode really builds on the work of the one before and brings Maggie's issue right around in a full circle, without really enabling much dialogue. So it allows the emotion of Maggie's problem to be placed on her.

Episode 2 of Sullivan's Crossing season 4 really built on the foundation of the dynamic that Maggie, Liam, and Cal already had in earlier episodes. Although there isn't any definite or finalized conclusion to this issue at the moment, they are constantly continuing to make things more complicated. And as it stands, Maggie's relationship with Liam continues to dictate the drama within the show.

Maggie's marriage continues to put her in an emotional state. Liam's presence has been pulling Maggie back to her past. Cal is now caught in the middle of the situation that has arisen from Maggie's ex returning to town.
