Survivor 51 will premiere on CBS on September 23, 2026, at 8 pm ET/PT. The premiere episode will be 2 hours, but the rest of the episodes will be 90 minutes each and will be released weekly on Wednesdays. Episodes will be available for streaming on Paramount+ from the day after they release.

Additionally, Linnea Capobianco (entrepreneur), Maggie Nestor (farmer), Mike Pinsky (baseball executive), Ori Jean-Charles (personal trainer), Patt Cannaday (federal prosecutor), Rob Antonson (airline gate agent), Sharonda Cox (OBGYN resident), and Thien An Nguyen (medical student) are also part of the cast.

What to expect from Survivor 51?

As an exclusive Survivor 51 trailer revealed by PEOPLE, the new season will be more chaotic than others. It is also going to bring in a new era of the show and all kinds of twists that one can think of. As host Jeff Probst says in the trailer:

“You are birthing a new game, ‘The Open Era’ of Survivor. Every type of advantage, every twist we’ve ever done, is in play.”

The contestants are not only going to have a hard time with the twists but will also have their personal moment. The trailer reveals Eric Macksoud, a mental health counselor, surprised at the fact that he killed a fish with a spear. It is not known if they regret catching the fish, but the moment seems suggestive of the fact that many contestants will face and realize things they never have.
