Taylor Sheridan is confirmed to appear in Paramount+'s much-awaited series, Lioness Season 3. The Yellowstone creator did a cameo as Cody Spears in the previous chapter and the characters are all set to return now.
As seen in Season 2, Cody served as a grizzled "man hunter" and team leader of a small Delta Force unit assigned to support CIA operations. He played a key role in the rescue involving Congresswoman Hernandez in Mexico alongside Joe’s team and also appeared in the premiere.
Sheridan's return to Lioness was shared by actor Thad Luckinbill during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Luckinbill mentioned being excited for Sheridan and also added that his presence improves their show:
"He’s so real. Whether he’s an actor, writer, director or a producer, he’s still the same guy. He’s gonna give you the same opinions, and he cares the same about the product. So it doesn’t really change. He is who he is and you get it. He’s full access."
As for the overall plot for Season 3, it brings back the main female characters. They still have a lot to take care of, and fans must prepare for some of the best action scenes once again on their screens.

Taylor Sheridan will return to Lioness Season 3 as Cody Spears
"You know what they say…Beware the old soldier. He’s old for a reason". If this line stuck with you in Season 2, you'll be glad to know that Taylor Sheridan's Cody Spears is returning for Lioness Season 3 as well, meaning there will likely be more memorable and impactful dialogues from the creator of the very show.
Cody didn't just lead his team and help in the rescue mission, but he also made sure to provide tactical support, including sniper roles in later action. At the same time, he was seen as a battle-hardened operator with KT tape and practical gear. All these features make him an intriguing character in the series.
And this isn't the first time he has acted in the same show he made, as Taylor Sheridan also made a cameo in Yellowstone, another hit series on Paramount+. To make his role even more memorable, the creator brought supermodel Bella Hadid as his on-screen girlfriend, Sadie. This shows that Sheridan knows how to impress his fans and keep the excitement alive in all of his series.

A look at what to expect from Lioness Season 3
Lioness started as a Paramount+ TV series, following CIA senior case officer Joe McNamara (Zoe Saldaña), as the leader of her team. While she's handling dangerous covert missions, Joe also has to maintain her family dynamics.
Now Season 3 is going to be all about hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals. Mysterious enemies are operating from the shadows, Joe is struggling to protect both her country and her loved ones.
With guidance from Kaitlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman) and Byron Westfield (Michael Kelly), she faces a conflict that gradually becomes deeply personal. Unlike the first two seasons, Season 3 does not focus on recruiting a new Lioness operative.
Instead, Cruz, Josie, and the existing Quick Reaction Force (QRF) team work together to identify and eliminate a dangerous threat that hits close to home. Lioness Season 3 will also introduce new stories and different timelines, as viewers will get to know about the events six months ago.
Russia remains a key part of Season 3 as conflicts will continue to escalate. And one again, the team members will have to pay the price of being a part of dangerous intelligence operations.
