This forced Ted to cancel all training for tomorrow, and he invited the Lady Greyhounds to Mae's pub for a trivia night, which was a disguised team-building exercise. Getting into action, Ted divided the women into teams of three but deliberately mixed up the three groups, forcing them to gel with each other. While the women did not like interacting with players different from their cliques, they had no choice but to participate in the trivia night.

As the women grew invested and determined to win the trivia night in Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 4, they started bonding with each other. Things took a turn when an arrogant team of men, who were also participating in the quiz, talked trash to the Lady Greyhounds and belittled them for playing football. While it was verbal banter initially, things took a violent turn when one of the men accused Gemma of cheating. She was helping her fellow team win against the men after her team had already lost.

This did not sit right with the men. What started as banter turned into a bar scuffle in Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 4, as goalkeeper Boots joined and smashed a beer bottle onto an abusive man's face. Ted's plan worked its magic as the women's team was finally united against their abusers. However, by the end of the trivia night, Lady Greyhounds, Coach Beard, and Lasso all ended up in jail, which the former still considered a major win.

The latest episode of Ted Lasso Season 4 introduced a new character in Zelda Southport, the keynote speaker at the Women's Football Business Summit, which was also attended by Rebecca and Keeley. Keeley was already impressed, as Zelda was a managing partner at a company that exclusively invested in women's football teams. Zelda's speech was blunt and direct as she called out businessmen who invest in women's football, only to build their reputation as philanthropists.

While Keeley was naturally impressed with Zelda and even asked her to help Lady Greyhounds, Rebecca had her doubts, particularly because of Zelda's shady past, where she not only threatened a club owner but also changed her original name.

Rebecca's doubts were somewhat proven right towards the end of Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 4, when Zelda managed to free Lady Greyhounds, Beard, and Lasso from jail without paying bail. She also announced the team's arrest to the media, likely for PR, suggesting that her means of achieving goals do not align with Rebecca's, setting up major trouble for the team in the upcoming episodes.

Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 4 recap: Roy is interested in Jenni's friend

Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 4 saw an interesting turn in Roy's dating life after he went on a string of dates with different women. Turns out, Keeley wanted Roy to date at least 10 women before they restart their relationship, to make him aware of his needs and wants. However, Roy took it as an assignment and speed-dialled through his dates until he actually hooked up with one of the bartenders at the bar where he took all his dates.

However, Roy pulled a muscle in his knee during the act, which landed him in the hospital with his sister Jenni. Despite being reluctant to come to the hospital, Roy took a liking to Dr. Erin, one of Jenni's close friends who had agreed to see her brother. While Erin was uninterested, Roy had taken a liking to her, suggesting a new romance for him.
