Ted Lasso Season 4 has finally made its way to our screens! It's been three years since fans last got to watch the hit comedy, as Ted decided to leave England and return to Kansas so he could spend more time with his son, Henry.

Because of that, many believed that the story had come to an end, but the new chapter is out now. Instead of following Season 3's ending, Season 4 of Tedd Lasso kicks off after a time jump.

Ted returns to Richmond, but this time his role is different. Rather than coaching the men's AFC Richmond team again, he takes charge of the club's women's football team, which currently plays in the second division.

The focus is on Ted, helping this new group of players grow while taking on a challenge unlike anything he has faced before. And the premiere also made it clear that Season 4 will bring new risks for the coach and his team.

Ted Lasso Season 4 starts some time after Ted returned to Kansas City instead of continuing directly from the Season 3 ending. Although he is no longer coaching football, Ted seems to be happy working as an assistant manager at an upscale grocery store.

Now he has an ordinary job, but that hasn't changed the way he is. He likes to connect with customers, offer them thoughtful advice, and finds creative ways to teach younger employees valuable lessons.

However, it still feels like something is missing in his life. Later, a surprise visit from former Richmond player Joe Conrad reminds Ted of the impact he once had as a coach. Ted then explains that leaving football allowed him to return to his son and watch him grow and support him.

Later, Ted is called at Henry's school, which worries him. However, it turns out to be a harmless misunderstanding involving lyrics Henry had written in a notebook. The moment reassures Ted that Henry is doing well, while also showing that Ted and Michelle now share a much friendlier relationship than before.

And then we see Rebecca, Keeley, and Higgins arrive in Kansas City in the Ted Lasso Season 4 premiere. They initially claim they are visiting to study the Kansas City Current as inspiration for Richmond's future women's team, but Rebecca eventually reveals their true purpose: they want Ted to return to Richmond and become the women's team's first head coach.

After Ted gets the offer, he feels good but asks for time to think because his priority is Henry. And if he immediately says yes to returning to Richmond, it means leaving Henry once again.

The premiere of Ted Lasso Season 4 continues, and we see that when Ted is alone, he is no more cheerful, as if he has already been wrestling with the possibility of returning to England. Then looking at Henry's room reminds him why he came back in the first place.

Henry's uncertain response to the coaching offer initially convinces Ted that staying in Kansas City may be the right decision. On the other side, Rebecca is dealing with her own problems.

She learns that Twickenham's women's team has folded due to financial struggles. This news shakes her confidence as Rebecca thinks about whether Richmond's women's team could suffer the same fate.

Despite her fear, she remains determined to continue. At the same time, Higgins explores Kansas City and gains a deeper appreciation of baseball history during a visit to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

Later in the premiere of Ted Lasso Season 4, a turning point arrives when Ted visits his mother Dottie's garage sale. He looks at his late father's old "Salesman of the Year" plaque and revisits painful memories from his childhood.

Dottie also challenges him with an honest observation, telling him that nobody asks about his grocery store job because he clearly doesn't care about it himself. She encourages him to return to work that truly fulfills him and reassures him that he will eventually find a way to balance both his career and his family responsibilities.

Ted spends more time with Rebecca and others, and during his visit to the Kansas City Current stadium, he gradually thinks about the excitement and purpose that coaching gives him. Keeley also remains enthusiastic about building Richmond's women's team, which also boosts Rebecca's confidence.

Despite all of this, Ted doesn't immediately accept the offer before seeing his friends off at the airport. Rebecca gifts Ted a tea bag with a simple note, "let it steep", which plays a big role in this episode.

Ted has always disliked tea, but thanks to Rebecca, he sat down and gave it a thought. Looking through old family keepsakes, including his father's plaque, helps him realize what he truly wants.

Rather than choosing between coaching and his family, Ted comes up with a new solution by asking Michelle and Henry if they would be willing to move to London with him. When both agree, Ted finally decides to return to Richmond in Ted Lasso Season 4 and lead the club's new women's team.
