Ted Lasso Season 4 sees Ted and the team ring in the New Year together- Episode 6 recap ahead

Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 6 is titled "Don't Jump Around Much Anymore" and was released on Apple TV+ on September 9. The latest episode of the platform's sports-comedy series saw the team ring in the New Year with their coach, Ted, at the Crown & Anchor pub. But before that, the team headed to Zelda's boat party, a setup to introduce them to rich, influential people and secure investors.

Meanwhile, Keeley, Roy, and Rebecca planned to celebrate at Jamie Tartt’s vodka launch party. But Rebecca was worried about her relationship with Matthijs after their fight. Ted decided to ring in the new year with his son and Michelle, which took a turn when his whole team showed up.

Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 6 recap: Roy confessed his feelings for Keeley to Erin

While Keeley was happy Roy showed up to Jamie's party alone, he had plans to meet up with Erin later in Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 6. However, just when he was about to leave, 'Jump Around' started playing, forcing Jamie and Roy to hit the dance floor. The two men jumped around and danced to their favorite song but in between all the jumping, Roy accidentally cracked his knee and the trio took him to the hospital. That is where Keeley met Erin for the first time. While she was naturally jealous of Erin, she agreed that she was smart, beautiful and perfect for Roy. Believing Roy was in good hands, she left. When Erin came to check up on Roy, he greeted her with a smile but said, 'I Love You, Keeley,' confirming Erin's doubts that he had feelings for Keeley.

Elsewhere, Jamie consoled Rebecca with wise words while she was worrying about Matthijs. Jamie was ready to kiss Rebecca at midnight but Matthijs showed up at the last minute. Turns out, he wanted to surprise Rebecca and the couple reunited and shared a kiss at midnight.

Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 6 recap: The team's boat party was a disaster

Zelda's boat party got weirder by the minute and the girls were not feeling it. Zelda introduced a man named Hugo, who was her best friend and the weirdest person on the boat. Meanwhile, the team was concerned about Alice, who had not shown up to the party. Turns out, Alice was rethinking her dress at home with her girlfriend. Finally, Alice arrived at the party but she started to feel insecure when Zelda introduced the team to Hugo. While she introduced Ted and Beard as the coaches, she forgot about Alice.

Gemma noticed Alice's discomfort in Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 6 and took her outside. Alice apologized to Gemma for treating her badly in the past and Gemma assured her that the team loves her. Just as Zelda planned to kick-start the next phase of the party and distributed masks to everyone, the team left.

While the team struggled at Zelda's party in Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 6, Ted had a quiet night at the pub with Michelle and Henry. When Henry fell asleep, the couple took him upstairs and started talking about dating. Michelle confessed that she almost asked their therapist out, as it would be easy to be with someone who knew her past. Ted revealed that he had not dated in a while. Michelle encouraged Ted to start dating again and believe in himself. Just then, the team arrived at the pub. But since they were banned from the pub (due to their fight), they were told to take their party out.

Ted and Michelle saw the team from their window and she encouraged him to join them in Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 6. Just as the clock was about to strike midnight, Ted joined the team and they rang in the New Year together. Ted said that he hopes to see Alice at work soon, suggesting her suspension was over.

In the final moments of Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 6, Lizzie approached Alice and assured her that the team loves her. Alice realized Gemma had likely talked to the team behind her back, which did not sit right with her. Gemma maintained she did it to help Alice, but Alice was upset and left.
