Three years after Season 3, Season 4 of Ted Lasso is finally going to be released on Apple TV soon, which will bring us a new team, among much more. The new season will premiere on August 5, 2026, and bring Ted Lasso back to Richmond.However, this time he is going to coach the newly formed AFC Richmond Women's Team. There are also going to be some reunions and a much-needed new perspective of the sport that is at the center of the show.Season 4 of Ted Lasso will bring us a new team and revisit earlier relationshipsAs Season 3's ending had revealed, Season 4 of Ted Lasso will bring back Ted Lasso to Richmond after he had gone back to Kansas to coach his son's soccer team. Roy Kent is now the manager of the AFC Richmond men's team, and Ted will be coaching the new woman's team, Lady Greyhounds. Joining him is Alice Chilton (played by Tanya Reynolds), a new coach.Coaching a new team is going to be a challenge for Ted, but with Alice, he might just overcome the obstacles in his way. The new team is excited and eager to perform. The trailer for Season 4 of Ted Lasso reveals that while Ted isn't coaching the men's team anymore, coaching the new women's team will help him gain a new perspective towards the sport. As Coach Beard asks a player of the new team,"But football is life?"She responds by saying,"No, life is so much more than football."and goes back to practice. Beard says what she said wasn't as catchy, but it's evident that all coaches agree with her. The trailer for Season 4 does make it obvious that while football lies at the center of these characters' lives, the new season will continue to show us what lies beyond the sport.Keeley had taken a break from relationships in Season 3, but as trailers for Season 4 reveal, she might find her way back to Roy. They will be spending quite some time together, including a bicycle ride during which Keeley will hug Roy. Rebecca is going to explore her relationship with Matthijs.Besides Reynolds, the new season will star Grant Feely as Henry Lasso. Faye Marsay, Jude Mack, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern have also joined the show in new roles. Returning cast members include Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, and Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, among others.
