The Four Seasons Season 3 is officially in production as the fan-favorite friends reunite for more romance and relationship chaos

Netflix has announced that The Four Seasons Season 3 is currently in production and the new chapter will bring back the popular group of friends who will continue their journey filled with romance and complicated relationships. According to Netflix, the showrunners, Tina Fey, Tracey Wigfield, and Lang Fisher said,

"We are thrilled to be able to bring a third season of The Four Seasons to life."

Netflix executive Tracey Pakosta pointed out that the strong chemistry among the cast members has made it connect deeply with the audience.

WRNN 99.5 revealed that Season 2 has secured a place in Netflix's Top 10 list across 56 nations while Season 1 attracted more than 24.4 million views after the release.

Netflix confirmed that The Four Seasons Season 3 is officially in production

Netflix posted a group photo of The Four Seasons cast members on Instagram and announced that Season 3 is now in production. In the photo, Colman Domingo, Tina Fey, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, and others were present.

The new chapter has started filming, but the release date has not been announced yet. The exact filming location has not been announced yet. But it is expected that the main setting will stay in the New York and New Jersey area, with possible returns to Italy as well.

Netflix's Tracey Pakosta mentioned about the beautiful journey of these lifelong friends while Tina Fey thanked those who have watched the show.

Tracey:

"It’s been a joy watching the chaotic, beautiful journey of these lifelong friends"

Tina:

"Thank you to everyone who watched. Middle-aged people, LFG!"

What happened in The Four Seasons Season 2?

Before The Four Seasons Season 3 begins, let's go through what happened at the Season 2 finale. The previous season ended with Anne staying in Italy to look after Danny and Claude's home, and as a result, it led to a chance encounter with Gianpiero. The previous chapter also showed that Nick's younger girlfriend Ginny proved herself to be a part of the group.

According to Whats on Netflix, the finale of the second chapter also revealed the sudden end of Danny's holiday after he received news of a family medical emergency, and so he rushed back to Philadelphia. Claude realized that Danny's mother needed full-time care, so he made a major romantic choice to leave Italy and move in together to support her.

Meanwhile, during dinner, Jack admitted with tears that he was a failure, but Kate refused to let him remain stuck. She persuaded him to run a local marathon wearing Claude's borrowed clothes. Kate cheered and physically helped Jack cross the finish line and together the couple completed the race.

The most interesting plot in Season 2 was the return of Nick in episode 6. The story shifted back to a COVID-era Thanksgiving when Nick and Anne welcomed their friends after the quarantine period.
