The Husband Episode 11 finally unmasks the mastermind pulling all the strings - recap ahead

K-drama thriller The Husband will soon come to an end, and as the finale is almost here, Tae-ju has unmasked the mastermind pulling the strings from behind. The story began with the fallout of his marriage, but his life soon took a new and unexpected turn when his wife was abducted, and he ended up in a big conspiracy.

Now, in the latest episode 11, Tae-ju comes really close to the truth after confirming Choi's role in the conspiracy. He has been hating Tae-ju for a long time and is revealed to be behind the theft of the money and trying to silence people who could expose him.

Instead of immediately exposing him, Tae-ju starts to gather evidence first. On the other side, Cha's fate remains unclear, while Kim is secretly taken out of the hospital by Tae-ju and moved somewhere safe.

The Husband episode 11 recap: Tae-ju realizes Choi is behind the entire scheme

The Husband episode 11 finally gives Tae-ju enough information to connect the different pieces of the conspiracy. His father-in-law, Dr. Ko, confirms that only a very small group knew about the hospital's fetal stem-cell project, and Choi was one of them.

He already had doubts about him, and the flashback also confirms how he was involved. Choi originally intended Tae-ju to be the target, but Noh unexpectedly kidnapped Seyun instead. Not just this, but Choi was also responsible for taking the 3 billion won from Tae-ju's car after realizing where the money was.

Choi is jealous of Tae-ju, as he believes that he receives opportunities because he married into the hospital director's family. Choi thinks that he has always been overlooked and developed the fetal stem-cell project but lost control of it when Dr. Ko put Tae-ju in charge.

The Husband episode 11 continues, and we also learn that he also wanted Dr. Cha, who was interested in Taeju instead. After Kim became a threat because she might go to the police, Choi discovered Ha's debt problems and tried to use him to eliminate her.

When that failed, Choi arranged Ha's death himself. Now Tae-ju knows the truth, but instead of confronting Choi immediately, he tries to make him nervous while secretly looking for evidence.

The Husband episode 11 recap: Cha's uncertain fate and Kim's disappearance

The story moves forward in episode 11 of The Husband as Cha's situation remains unclear after Noh previously abducted her. There have been notable changes in her since the K-drama began, as she was seen as a doctor who seemed attracted to Tae-ju, but her involvement in the larger scheme revealed how far that obsession had gone.

Choi even accuses her of wanting Seyun removed so she could have Tae-ju for herself. There is some hypocrisy in that accusation because Choi has essentially been trying to remove Tae-ju for his own chance with Cha.

Additionally, Cha is struggling after Ha's death, possibly because she thought Choi only planned to scare him. Noh later tells Choi that he let Cha go, which worries Choi because she could expose him. However, Noh's words also leave open the possibility that Cha may actually be dead.

Meanwhile, Kim's spinal tumor is getting worse in The Husband K-drama, and earlier flashbacks show how Choi blamed Taeju for her being denied treatment. Later, Kim suddenly disappears from the hospital after a fake fire alarm distracts security. Noh suspects Choi, but it turns out Taeju arranged her escape and moved her to the Pyeongwon Nursing Home.

The Husband episode 11 ending: Noh appears ready to turn on Choi, then changes course

Tae-ju soon comes to know that Noh is following him in episode 11 of The Husband. When he confronts him, Noh says that Choi has been manipulating him and admits that he was the person who took Kim from the hospital.

Tae-ju then tries to make a deal with him based on the one thing Noh has been fighting for throughout the story: Kim's survival. If Noh agrees to go to the police and reveal the truth, Tae-ju will perform the surgery on Kim for her survival.

And since he has been looking for ways to save his wife, this deal makes real sense. For a moment, it appears that Noh is prepared to cooperate. He asks Tae-ju to meet him at night, seemingly intending to accept the deal and finally reveal what Choi has made him do.

But the tables turn when Tae-ju arrives, and Choi is also present there, and Noh uses a taser on Tae-ju, which leaves him unconscious. This was a shock, as Noh could have easily cooperated with Tae-ju and gotten his wife surgery. But he still chose the path to deception.
