The Neighborhood cast: Every star returning for the farewell special of the CBS sitcom

CBS is giving The Neighborhood a warm sendoff. Yesterday, the cast reunited for a farewell. The moment carried joy and a touch of sadness. Fans of the show can tune in at 8:30 p.m. ET for a special tribute. The producers are considering ending the show with season 8. They said,

The Neighborhood: Cedric the Entertainer as Calvin Butler

In the upcoming season finale of The Neighborhood, Cedric is returning as Calvin Butler. The character is Tina's husband and Malcolm and Marty's father. He is shown as someone who once owned an auto repair shop. He retired from the shop and sold it in season 5.

You can find his best scene in season 4, episode 17, where Calvin attempts to be a tough negotiator. He backfires hilariously when he tries to buy a new car. He acts tough and refuses to lower his price. The salesperson gets tired of the back-and-forth and simply walks away. Calvin is left standing there, shocked, realizing that he has argued himself out of getting the car.

The Neighborhood: Tichina Arnold and Marcel Spears as Tina and Marty Butler

In the upcoming season finale, Tichina and Marcel will return as mother and son, Tina and Marty Butler. Tina is the matriarch of the Butler family and the wife of Calvin Butler. She is a former singer in a semi-successful pop trio. In season 5, the character expanded her career by becoming a part-time music teacher at Walcott Academy.

Marty Butler is the younger, gifted son of Calvin and Tina. He is accomplished, working as a successful engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. You will enjoy his scene from season 6, where he partners with his father to open Fuse Box, an auto repair shop specializing in electric vehicles.
