But the scene where she is name-dropped in The Pitt Season 2's latest episode has some hopeful that Dr. Collins will appear in the next season or an upcoming episode. The Pitt Season 2: How did the show write out Dr. Heather Collins? View this post on Instagram Instagram PostDennis Whitaker and James Ogilvie are treating the longtime patient, Louie (Ethan Bostick) for his tooth ache. Louie is feeling numb as he asks for a POC doctor as he himself is an African-American man. He asks for Dr. Collins, with whom he had a rapport. This when, Whitaker informs that Collins left the PTMC, saying:“Dr. Collins finished her residency [and] took up a job in Portland as an attending physician. [I] think that’s where she’s from … she’s adopting a baby [and] wanted to be closer to her family.”As Whitaker informs this, Dr. Robby walks through the room and he listens in with a reflective look. Noah Wyle had addressed the reason behid Dr. Robby and Heather Collins' break-up in a PEOPLE interview before The Pitt Season 2 premiere:"He could not have given her what she wanted. She was a rockstar on an ascension that he would only have been an impediment towards. And if she's found happiness, God bless."On the other hand, EP John Wells addressed Ifeachor’s exit in an interview with TheWrap:“People are going to continue to leave and and that’s part of what makes it, for the audience, real. As we go forward, these shifts are going to change in ways in which we do them. People come and go and people come back … it’s a training hospital, and people are at different levels in their training. If we suddenly created it to [be], ‘Oh, it’s just one day and then the next day, and then the next day,’ So that everybody could be there forever, I don’t think the audience would go along with us in the same way.”Robby and Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi continue flirting in The Pitt Season 2 Episode 5: View this post on Instagram Instagram PostDr. Baran Al-Hashimi was introduced as the temporary attending physician for Robby, as the latter heads for a sabbatical. But The Pitt Season 2 episode 3 included a small flirtatious moment between the two, and this one includes another moment between the two. Wyle addressed the flirty relationship in this week's PEOPLE interview:"It depends on which frame you put around it. On one hand you could say, 'Oh, look at that. Robby's got a social life.' On the other hand, you look at it and go, ‘Oh, Robby's got a social life where there's always an out.' There's always an escape hatch. There's always a ticking clock on it, and a point at which he's not willing to go any farther. We're looking at somebody who flirts with connection but isn't capable of connection. There is no character who talks about having gone to dinner with Robby or having hung out with Robby. We never get a sense that he sees any of these people really, except for Noelle, outside the hospital. Even in that relationship, they keep it very professional at work to not have anybody speculate."The actor further continued:"So you could look at it and go, 'Oh, it’s cool that he's feeling good enough to date.' But on the other hand, it's just another form of half-assed therapy."Four episodes of The Pitt Season 2 are accessible on HBO Max.
