Kat comes across a shocking revelation while Del and Sam’s dynamic shifts in The Way Home Season 4 Episode 7

The Way Home Season 4 Episode 7 starts with Casey and Sam spending time together. The two of them play chess, which further enhances their dynamic. They speak about the legal advice on a past case and also open up about how Sam was the one who taught Casey to play chess. It is also revealed that Sam’s help is needed on the farm.

As The Way Home Season 4 Episode 7 progresses, in the present time, Sam and Casey play chess once again, but this time, things take a turn as Casey regrets telling Sam about the future. On the other hand, Kat speaks with Fern and Tessa. They discuss Tessa’s situation. However, Tessa blames Kat. Soon, Elliot’s arrival brings forth a layer of complexity as he urges Tessa to go for a walk with him. Elliot is quite frustrated because of Tessa’s actions.

After they reach the pond, he speaks to her about the reason Tessa abandoned him. However, Tessa tells him that during that moment, she thought that she did not have many other choices. On the other hand, Fern and Kat also discuss Tessa being a time traveler.

Fern did not expect that Tessa would be a time traveler. Kat then urges Fern to focus on the engagement with Grayson. Fern also reveals the difficulty she is facing, as she might get replaced and is in need of someone on whom she can truly rely. The pond played a vital role in bringing the two of them together.

The Way Home Season 4 Episode 7 also reveals that Alice has decided to stay back in Port Haven and not go to college. It cannot be denied that Alice has been focusing on the past and has rarely been able to live in the present moment. Staying back in Port Haven will allow her to understand herself on a deeper level.

Alice also urges Del to reach out to Sam. Del and Sam eventually meet, and Del shows her gratefulness towards Sam. However, things take a turn when Sam urges Del to remember the things that she said to him when he found her. On the other hand, in 1925, Fern and Cliff’s dynamic also takes a turn after Cliff begins to show his concern towards Fern. Cliff is worried about Fern getting dragged into the troubles that the town has.

Fern, on hearing about Cliff’s worries, asks him the reason for his concern. Right at that moment, Cliff leans in, and the two share a kiss, which Kat watches. The Way Home Season 4 Episode 7 continues with Kat jumping into the pond as she wants to see Alice off before she leaves for college. However, Kat arrives in 1979 and finds Fern, who tells her about the curse that the Landry women have regarding love.

Though Kat tries to find more information from Fern, it does not happen. This episode of The Way Home Season 4 continues with Kat returning to the present. It can be understood that her worries regarding Elliot staying back in 1925 are rising with each passing moment. Kat speaks to Del regarding this issue, who also opens up about her worries regarding Sam. Del had spent quite a long time thinking about Colton. Hearing Del’s concern, Alice gives her a reality check.

The Way Home Season 4 Episode 7 continues with Alice revealing to Casey that she will defer. Things take a turn when Alice later reveals this news to Kat. However, Kat is not happy with Alice’s decision and gets extremely angry. Alice and Casey’s dynamic also shifts when Casey mentions the future and notes how everything is a countdown.

He then jumps into the pond, followed by Alice. After Alice takes a trip to the past and returns, she understands that she does not need to cling to the past and also tells Kat about the whole trip. Though the dynamic between Alice and Kat took a negative turn after Alice told her about deferring, after her return, the two share a heartwarming moment. Alice also tells Kat that she wants to stay in Port Haven to get to know herself better, which Kat understands.

At the end of The Way Home Season 4 Episode 7, Del is finally able to remember that she told Sam that she loved her before he rescued her. She goes to visit Sam and tells him that she remembers. Sam is extremely happy with the situation, and the two share a heartwarming kiss.

Though Del and Sam find happiness in this episode, it is not the same for Alice and Kat, as at the very end of this episode, it is revealed that Elliot tricked Kat into jumping into the pond without him, as he wanted to stay back in 1925. After Alice and Kat enter Elliot’s room, they find many news articles that have Elliot’s picture but with a different name, raising the stakes for the upcoming storyline.
