"This is common sense": Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette reacts to his recent defamation lawsuit against Demi Engemann

Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette shared a video via his Instagram on December 7, 2025. It was about his recent defamation lawsuit against The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann.

Soon, Marciano joined the latest trending conversation on Instagram. He talked about getting even with someone who had already done something wrong.

The video featured Marciano stating:

"Somebody do something to me. I do something to them. This is common sense."

He faced a question of whether he believed in getting even. Vanderpump Villa star answered:

"Hell to the yeah."

For fans who might not know, the video that Marciano posted on Instagram was after his lawsuit against Demi Engemann. Earlier, she accused Marciao of se*ual assault.

According to US Weekly's report, Marciano and his team revealed that Demi accused him of being a se*ual predator. Because of those allegations, Marciano's career was affected.

The legal documents from Marciano's legal team state:

"The truth is straightforward. Engemann and Marciano met while filming in Italy. They flirted. They spoke privately. They shared a consensual kiss. They separated. After filming, Engemann stayed in contact with Marciano for months through calls, FaceTime, texts, invitations, and even location sharing. That behavior confirms a continued relationship, not a person reacting to sexual assault."

Further, the documents reveal that Marciano was accused of "criminal se*ual conduct." However, such claims were published and repeated, and presented as the "truth" in viewers' minds. As a result, according to his team, "immediate and severe" damage had been done to Marciano's image.

Along with that, the accusations have also negatively impacted his professional career.

Additionally, Demi noted that there had been "physical contact" between her and Marciano in the latest season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. In one of the private confessionals, she noted that it was "unwated."

"Everyone is going to handle these kinds of situations differently. You never deserve unwanted touch. No matter what it looks like, no matter what your relationship was like before or after, unwanted touch is unwanted touch," said Demi.

Vanderpump Villa star Marciano responded that it was unfortunate to see everything revealed lately. According to him, everything was "consensual." During his November 25, 2025, appearance on the Juicy Scoop podcast, he noted that:

"I will just flat-out say that the accusations she's making against me are 100% false."

In another interview on November 20, 2025, with People, Vandarmump Villa star noted that he was taking the matter "extremely seriously." It was the most challenging situation he had ever faced. He added that those accusations had been "profoundly damaging" and "entirely false."
