During the Good Hang podcast with Amy Poehler, Holland revealed that he was petrified of hosting SNL because he has dyslexia, he said (via Deadline),

"I’m heavily dyslexic, which is one of the reasons why—and I’d love to talk to you today about it, actually—is why I’ve never done SNL. I’m just so petrified at the concept of, like, trying to read something and they change.”

Amy Poehler, the former Saturday Night Live host, added that there have been people with dyslexia who have hosted SNL. The Spider-Man: Homecoming star further revealed that even though he could read the script, he had trouble speaking it aloud. He explained (via Deadline),

"But when I have to read out loud, it just becomes, a kind of… it’s like a mental block, and I can freeze."
