Top 5 fan favorite Friends moments that deserve a revisit as hit sitcom returns to Channel 4

The iconic American comedy series, Friends, is returning to Channel 4 after 15 years. The UK broadcaster has gained the rights to air Friends. All 10 seasons of Friends are set to air from January 2027 on the Channel 4 VoD player and E4. According to Deadline, the deal was struck by Skydance-owned Warner Bros sales division, moving the show from Skydance UK network 5.

Channel 4 was the show's original UK broadcast home in the 1990s. The sitcom then moved to Channel 4's digital channel E4 in 2001. According to the Daily Mirror, the show had been on constant rotation on Channel 4 and its sister station, E4. It had garnered an average audience of almost 400,000. Unfortunately, in 2010, Channel 4 declared that its rights to the series would end in the autumn of 2011.

Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends revolves around the lives of six close-knit friends in their 20s and early 30s who live in Manhattan, New York City. The show ran for ten seasons and 236 episodes.
