A short Episode 5 Recap: The mystery sets up the big Under Salt Marsh ending in Episode 6
Episode 5 of Under Salt Marsh brought in even more confusion for the two. The episode began right when August’s body was found.

There are a number of doubts going on around about whether his death was really an accident or was it planned by someone else, especially when a fire destroys his caravan in the very same episode. Hidden papers buried under ground near the fire show that he knew more than people thought, including details linked to the landfill and Nessa.
Jackie questions Osian about his time with Cefin, but his explanation only creates more doubts. At the same time, Solomon admits that he and Ned secretly buried Nessa to protect their family. Ned then tries to escape the island as the weather gets worse and tensions rise across the town.
The investigation starts falling apart because no one fully trusts each other anymore. As Episode 6 comes closer, the truth behind Cefin and Nessa’s deaths is tied to someone close to the community.
Environmental issues around the town also seem linked to what is happening with these deaths, and with theories everywhere, the finale now has the job of connecting every secret and finally naming the killer.
