Undercover Miss Hong Episodes 5 and 6 bring forth Jang-mi’s interaction with the other characters, along with many revelations about the company, which further add a layer of complexity to the storyline.
The character development in these two episodes of the series makes this series further intriguing, especially in shedding light on the intertwining storylines.

Jang-mi comes across new revelations while Bok-hee’s past resurfaces in Undercover Miss Hong Episodes 5 and 6
Episode 5 of Undercover Miss Hong starts with Jang-mi and her roommates coming across a noise coming from their room. They get scared while trying to find where the sound is coming from. They find out that the noise is coming from Mi-sook’s daughter. Mi-sook secretly kept her daughter in her dorm room, as she had no other place to keep her. She is also a single mother.
Jang-mi’s roommates agree to keep her in the room, but Jang-mi refuses, as she knows that if they are caught, they will be removed from the dorm. Jang-mi tells Mi-sook to take her daughter away the next morning, and Mi-sook reluctantly agrees. As this episode of Undercover Miss Hong progresses, it takes Bom outside their dorm so that Mi-sook can take her away.
Kang decides to look for the whistleblowers, as Oh mentions, and his suspicion falls on the So-Bang-Cha trio. However, as the search for the paperwork along with the other belongings of this trio progresses, nothing comes to light. However, as Song is eager to prove her worth, she takes the photos she received from Bang Jin-mok while he tried to prove his innocence in the case. Jang-mi also continues to search using her own methods for the case.
She asks Yong-gi to hack Cha’s computer, through which she finds an audio recording of Cha and Song Ju-ran, where Song tells Cha to testify in exchange for money. Jang-mi also comes across the information about the Outstanding Women Employee Club through the audio. At the end of this episode of Undercover Miss Hong, back at the dorm room, while Jang-mi’s roommates are watching a horror movie, they hear a knocking.
After they open the door, they find Mi-sook’s daughter, Bom, standing there completely drenched. Before they are able to hide her properly, Jang-mi arrives. The next day, Jang-mi catches Bom inside the dorm room. However, she finds that she has a high fever. Instead of waiting for Mi-sook, she takes her to the hospital right away to make sure Bom is okay.
At the very end of the episode, Jang-mi agrees to keep Bom in their dorm as Bom agrees to keep her secret about knowing Keum-bo. Episode 5 of Undercover Miss Hong ends with Jang-mi getting stopped by Song Ju-ran as she gets suspicious about Jang-mi resembling Keum-bo.

Episode 6 of Undercover Miss Hong starts with Song Ju-ran asking Jang-mi if she has an elder sister, as she finds her face similar to the photo. Before she is able to ask her more questions, two of Song’s assistants arrive to inform her about an emergency that requires her attention right away.
Song finds that Kang’s ex-wife is waiting for her at her office. She asks her about Nora. Instead of getting scared by Kang Mi-ran’s ex-wife, she tells her to stay away from her office. However, Kang's ex-wife informs Mi-ran that her position can be taken away with just a single word from Kang, which makes her further angry. As this episode of Undercover Miss Hong continues, Song begins to do a background check on Jang-mi, finding that she is an only child.
The truth about the Outstanding Women Employee Club is also revealed in this episode of Undercover Miss Hong. It is revealed that twelve billion won was deposited into Kim I-gyeong at Songwi Branch, along with another 12 billion to Bok-hee, which are all slush funds controlled by Song. This episode of Undercover Miss Hong progresses with Jang-mi asking Albert to write a recommendation for the OW Award, which will help her get closer to the mystery.
As this episode of Undercover Miss Hong progresses, Bok-hee receives many letters from her brother. Bok-hee begins to get more and more worried about her abusive brother’s return. In the letters, her brother asked her for money to be deposited into his account. It can be understood that her life is going to get more and more complicated.
While returning from her work, Bok-hee’s brother follows her. She begins to attack her. Right at that moment, Jang-mi arrives and saves her from the situation. Bok-hee tells Jang-mi and the other roommates about her brother. On the other hand, Albert asks Jang-mi out for a date; however, she gets reluctant because of their age gap.
However, she eventually agrees to go on the date with Albert, as it will further help her with the investigation. At the end of this episode of Undercover Miss Hong, Jang-mi and her roommates mistake Shin for Bok-hee’s brother, which makes them attack her. On the other hand, after solving the issue with Shin, Jang-mi reaches the cafe for her date with Albert.
