Marvel's VisionQuest is just a week away from its October 14, 2026 release date. As the release date approaches, several entertainment outlets are revealing the rumored release schedules and runtimes of the episodes. The sci-fi series starts releasing its episodes next week, and it will go on until November 25, 2026, mere weeks before Avengers: Doomsday.

VisionQuest follows Vision, who is in hiding in his human form. According to the trailers, Vision interacts with different AI programs inside his head. They interact inside a mansion inside Vision's head. If you are interested in learning more about the sci-fi series, here's when you can watch the upcoming Disney+ Marvel series.

VisionQuest release schedule: When does the Disney+ Marvel series premiere?

The Disney+ Marvel series will release every Wednesday, with the first two episodes dropping together. After that, the remaining six episodes will be released every Wednesday until November 25, 2026. Therefore, here's when you can catch VisionQuest across the US starting next week:

One of the most shocking aspects of the Disney+ Marvel series is that its episodes have a long runtime.

All episodes have a runtime of over half an hour:

Unlike other Disney+ Marvel shows, the upcoming solo Vision series will have episodes that have a runtime of over 30 minutes. The runtime for the Vision series looks like this:

  • Episode 1 - 53 minutes
  • Episode 2 - 45 minutes
  • Episode 3 - 52 minutes
  • Episode 4 - 48 minutes
  • Episode 5 - 46 minutes
  • Episode 6 - 54 minutes
  • Episode 7 - 1 hour & 2 minutes
  • Episode 8 - 1 hour & 8 minutes

If you look at the runtimes mentioned above, it is clear that all episodes of the Disney+ Marvel show are over 30 minutes. One of the recurring criticisms of the Disney+ Marvel shows, with the exception of Daredevil: Born Again, is that the episodes are usually around half an hour. However, the runtime for the solo Vision series has us excited because it means that the episodes might not be rushed.

Star Trek: Picard's Terry Matalas serves as the showrunner of this upcoming series, which has been its selling point. Back in March, Matalas described the plot of the series as follows:

"You're meeting a Vision who has died and come back to life, who is sort of reconnecting with his memories, and his feelings, and is going through a bit of an identity quest."

Given that the sci-fi series is about Vision rediscovering his identity, it isn't surprising that the episodes have long runtimes.

Wanda is also expected to appear in the upcoming series:

Many fans believe that Wanda Maximoff is returning to the MCU with this December's Avengers: Doomsday. Marketing materials have hinted at three Latverian Witches behind Doctor Doom. One of these witches is rumored to be Wanda. Elizabeth Olsen has denied that she is returning to the MCU, but fans refuse to believe that.

If Wanda is indeed returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Vision series could set it up in the finale, which is releasing mere weeks before Avengers: Doomsday.

"Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponize him, has been in hiding. Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including Friday, Edith, Jarvis, and the infamous Ultron. His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s son, reincarnate."

VisionQuest begins streaming on Disney+ from Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
