Loved Schitt's Creek? Then you shouldn't miss these Dan Levy movies and TV shows
1) Happiest Season (Movie)

In this rom-com, Dan Levy portrays a supporting role as John. This film explores the plot of how Abby (Kristen Stewart) wishes to pop the question to her girlfriend Harper (Mackenzie Davis) during the holiday homecoming at Harper's house. But Abby comes to know that Harper is still hiding her sexual identity from her traditional parents.
In this film, Levy's John is Abby's best friend. His presence adds many light-hearted moments, along with honest guidance throughout the narrative. He completely stole the scene with his witty play of words and authenticity that he brings to John.
2) Good Grief (Movie)

Good Grief marks the directorial debut of Dan Levy. And he has outdone himself by not only directing the film, but also writing and starring in it. He portrays the role of Marc, who, in the aftermath of his husband's demise, is processing his grief. He ends up making a trip to Paris with his close buddies, as he embarks on a soul-searching journey of emotional recovery (along with a side of unforeseen discoveries).
This film stands apart from the rest of his work, which leans more towards comedy. This time, we explore a softer, dispirited side of Levy. This showcases the actor's incredible range, and it was undoubtedly refreshing to witness that.
3) Sex Education (Show)
Dan Levy starred in this highly popular Netflix series as well, although his appearance was brief. In series 4, Levy portrays the role of an acclaimed writer named Thomas Molloy. He is also a teacher of Maeve (Emma Mackey) at Wallace University. Initially, his character is critical of Maeve, as he doubts her potential as a writer. However, later, he realizes his mistake and takes accountability, and therefore, reassesses his methodology.
Levy's cameo appearance in the show serves as a treat for all his fans, as he captivates the viewers with charisma and humor.
4) Modern Family (Show)
Levy also made a guest appearance in yet another highly popular show, Modern Family. He appeared in the final season of the series, in episode "A Sketchy Area", as Jonah. He is a courtroom sketch artist, who proceeds to draw scathing, amplified portraits of Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), who is appearing as a lawyer in the case.
Dan Levy's portrayal of the spiteful, grudge-bearing Jonah added some humorous moments in the otherwise crucial courtroom scene.
5) The Big Brunch (Show)

Dan Levy's work on this show stands apart from all the rest of the scripted work that he did. This one is a cooking competition series by HBO Max, where Levy takes on the role of creating and hosting the show.
The series brings many chefs together, who create innovative dishes whilst sharing anecdotal stories in their gastronomic quest. This show does not carry an aggressive, competitive tone, but is rather warm and soothing. It is more about celebration of food, community and the culinary skills of the chefs. This sensitive vision of Levy manifested into becoming a welcome change in the reality TV scene.
