Watching You premiered on Stan on October 3, 2025. It is an Australian psychological thriller adapted from J.P. Pomare’s novel The Last Guests. Yesterday, Hulu premiered this show. Created by Ryan van Dijk and Alexei Mizin, the series stars Aisha Dee, Laura Gordon, and Chai Hansen. Episode 5 and Episode 6 of this show were directed by Sian Davies. Recently, people have been talking about this show. One IMDb user said,

"One of the best Australian shows I've seen in a long time. The characters are compelling and the writing is excellent. It's a hark back to classic erotic thrillers of the 80s and 90s but with a fresh perspective. Aisha Dee is a fierce lead and there are some truly stellar performances from the supporting cast."

The ending of this series showed us how Lina faced the consequences of uncovering the truth. While uncovering it, she found herself in an intense psychological mind game with life-and-death stakes. The ending also showed us that Lina lost everything and her world is broken. She is now chasing the cruel watcher who gave her pain, and she will not stop until they are punished.

Secret revealed about Dan Moore

In the final episode of Watching You, it was revealed that Dan’s real name is Andrew Wilson. Andrew has a lot of money, and he had a criminal dad. Moreover, he hates women when they don’t give him attention. One scene shows that after Lina finds the video, he speaks about how people love watching reality shows and says he has seen what is real for Lina.

The character of Dan was played by Josh Helman. Josh appeared in the show from the first episode to Episode 6. Viewers knew him as a pathological liar, and he doesn’t struggle to make up things on the spot. He is also known to the viewers by another name, Pete.

Axel was found dead in the ocean

The ending of Watching You revealed that Axel was found dead in the ocean. According to police reports, he slipped off the rocks, but the reports were fake. In reality, Axel went to Pa’s house to meet Dan, and there he found Dan’s hidden cameras and realized what was happening. Axel didn’t believe him after Dan promised to leave, and then Dan killed him.

After the murder, Dan tried to delete the video footage of his crime, but he couldn’t because the footage was recovered by Lina. After that, Lina gave the footage to Detective Brennan.

Ending explained: Lina killed Dan

The ending of Watching You also showed that Lina killed Dan with the fentanyl that she had kept hidden. She stabbed him with it and told Dan that there was never a baby. The scene shocked the audience. One month later, Brennan visits Lina, and in front of the detective, Lina acts as if she has no relationship with Dan and has moved on.

She diverted the topic of Dan and told Brennan that she is renovating Pa’s home to erase the painful memories. The final moment is darker. The series shows us a scene where Lina is drinking the same martini (with too many olives) that Dan once made for her.
