Stan's psychological thriller, Watching You, is finally heading to Hulu in the U.S this February. The Australian thriller premiered on Stan in October, 2025. After nearly five months, the series is now set to reach a wider audience. The series takes inspiration from J.P Pomare's 2021 novel, The Last Guests. Alexei Mizin and Ryan van Djik serve as the creators and writers duo. While Sian Davies and Peter Salmon are the directors, Helen Bowden joins as the executive producer.

The plot follows the story of Lina (Aisha Dee), who is happily engaged to her fiance but a mistake changes her life forever. When she has a one-night stand with a stranger at her friend's rental property, someone films them and later blackmails her. The blackmailer threatens to destroy her life.

Stan's psychological thriller, Watching You, is all set to release on Hulu on Friday, February 20, 2026. It will stream all six episodes simultaneously. It will also be available on Disney+ in certain regions.

Watching You: Plot, cast, and more

Watching You follows a young woman, Lina, whose vacation at her friend's rental property turns into a nightmare. Lina is happily engaged, but when she meets a charming stranger during the vacation, she has a secret one-night stand. Turns out, someone records her one-night stand and blackmails her. The voyeur threatens to destroy her life. The series taps into themes including adultery, privacy, unauthorized monitoring, psychological effects on blackmail victims, and more.

It is an erotic thriller which features strong language and explicit s*x scenes. Watching You has an MA 15+ rating in Australia. Thus, parents shouldn't let children under 15 watch this series. As of now, the parents' guide/TV rating is not yet available for the U.S.

ITV Studio's Lingo Pictures produces it. Disney+ and Hulu bagged the streaming rights in EMEA and the U.S., respectively. The show was mostly shot in the suburbs of Sydney. In an interview with Stan, Caliah Scobie, Executive Chief Content officer noted:

"This gripping psychological thriller, Stan's first in the genre, is penned by the talented writers Alexei Mizin and Ryan van Dijk. Their compelling narrative and social commentary promise to captivate audiences worldwide.”
