Freya Myers, played by Michaela Watkins, is a top executive of Walcott Capital, an organisation that aided the money laundering scam. Turns out the First Lady, Jenny Hagan, was one of their clients as well. Freya was a complex character in The Night Agent Season 3. She was the top-level executive of Walcott Capital. The organization let high level clients launder money. Surprisingly, Jacob Monroe, the broker who previously helped Peter in Season 2, but with a condition, was linked to the chaos. In the past he was forced to become a CIA asset against the Mexican arms mafia and La Fuerza de La Soberania's founder, Raul Zapata.

The terrorist organisation was responsible for a plane hijack. Monroe fell in love with one of the employees, Sophie de Leon, and he wanted to start a new life with her. Unfortunately, someone snitched on them, and Raul's men abducted Sophia. It seemed to Monroe that it was his mistake. So he decided to take revenge on Raul. Monroe found out that Raul's LFS had an account in the Walcott Capital to move funds. Thus Monroe took Jay Batra's help to dig out more dirt on Raul and Freya. Freya hired a hitman, the Father, to go after Batra.

The hired hitman had a change of heart, and he quit the assignment. Now, Freya was trapped from all ends. Isabel, who's Monroe's daughter and a relentless journalist, found evidence from Monroe's cloud storage. President Richard hired night agents to finish off Freya since she knew all the secrets about the money laundering scam that Richard and Jenny were involved in. Thus, when Freya had no option left, she decided to expose Richard and Jenny.

However, at the end, when things supposedly calmed down, Freya was seen enjoying a martini in a beach bar. She might have stepped down from her position at Walcott Capital or was simply on a break. Anyways, there was the hitman, aka the Father, too. He approached Freya. Now, since Freya had never met him before, she couldn't recognise him. The hitman poisoned her drink, and Freya was thus she was killed in The Night Agent Season 3.

Why did the hitman kill Freya?

The hitman posioned Freya's drink in The Night Agent Season 3 finale. He wanted to kill Freya because when the hitman had a change of heart and quit the assignment, Freya threatened to kill him and all those close to him. Freya was unaware that he had a son whom he loved dearly. Thus, he thought he had to end Freya to save his son. However, Freya's death was not shown onscreen, leaving the viewers on a cliffhanger. In the Tudum interview, showrunner Ryan revealed that Freya was killed in The Night Agent Season 3.
