This time, the two of them have to navigate through complications while they try to survive on their beloved ranch.

They lost everything in Montana; hence, this time, they are eager to do everything to protect their ranch. Right after the release, the series gained an immense positive response from the viewers and set a new record for Paramount+. The series gained 12.9 million views over seven days globally.

Dutton Ranch Episode 5 starts after the tragic incident of the previous episode, where Beth and Rip lost their herd. To make sure that Beth and Rip can get back to the top of the business, Rip takes on the task of 10 Petal Ranch. Right after Rip takes over, he also comes to know about Wes’ disappearance through Austin.

He also understands that he played a part in hiding Wes’s body, which impacts him. This episode of the series progresses with Rip getting invited for brisket and wine by Beulah. Beulah also offers Rip a salary. On the other hand, Beth also speaks about her suspicions regarding Beulah to Everett after he arrives with the mare that they saved together.

Things take a turn for Carter in this episode of Dutton Ranch. While he is helping Dwight with a light bulb, cops arrive. Dwight begins to run away; however, the police are able to catch him. Carter soon finds that Sheriff Wade has shot Dwight. He is also arrested for the second time, but the sheriff agrees to let him go and also states that he will not inform Carter’s family about the arrest.

At the end of this episode of Dutton Ranch, Beth visits Beulah and gives an offer. She tells Beulah about the things she could do to the ranch by making it recession-proof and a household name, which will eventually help Beulah and also lead to the development of the ranch. Beulah understands that Beth’s offer is tempting.

At the end of this episode of Dutton Ranch, Beth tells Beulah that, for now, she will take 20% of the profits, but the Dutton name will not be part of the deal. The stage is now set for the new set of challenges for Beth and Rop as they take on a new path. It cannot be denied that the cast members of the series have done a commendable job in enhancing the overall appeal of the series and making it an impactful one.
