Hulu’s dystopian thriller Paradise will be returning for a second season, bringing viewers back to a tense world of secrecy, survival, and shifting allegiances. In an emotional high-stakes mystery mashup, taking place in an oppressive BoB bunker society, the leads, Sterling K. Brown and Julianne Nicholson manage to quickly build a following. Season 2 will give us a potentially enlarged cast within the claustrophobic, underground haven that Season 1′s characters are nesting in.
The new season will air on February 23, 2026, and it also introduces some new faces, hinting at a broader narrative and fresh challenges. Here's what we know.
When will Paradise Season 2 release?
The drama returns with a well-spaced release plan on Monday, February 23, 2026. This season has eight episodes, so rather than having all the suspense and twists at once, like its first outing, the show will drop episodes in batches every week on Mondays until the series finale. The first three episodes are dropping on the day of the premiere for the viewers to form a strong foundation and look forward to more.
Here's the release schedule we have confirmed:
- February 23 - Episode 2.1: “Graceland”
- February 23 - Episode 2.2: “Mayday”
- February 23 - Episode 2.3: “Another Day in Paradise”
- March 2 - Episode 2.4
- Monday, March 9 - Episode 2.5
- Monday, March 16 - Episode 2.6
- Monday, March 23 - Episode 2.7
- Monday, March 30 - Episode 2.8
This staggered release schedule allows the audience to digest the show’s multi-layered story, conspiracies, and character arcs in between episodes, something that evolved as part of the viewing experience during the first season.
In the Paradise trailer, a tale begins in an idyllic, high-end community, where the rich and powerful enjoy peaceful living. But the tranquility shatters when the President is discovered dead, and Secret Service agent Xavier Collins is unexpectedly thrust to the center of the case. We have got interrogations, political tension, and a suggestion that perhaps Xavier himself is under suspicion.
What should we expect from the new season of Paradise?

Paradise Season 2 returns for a new installment following Xavier Collins and his increasingly dangerous and personal journey. Set three years after a catastrophic disaster that ended normal existence, the new season tracks Xavier as he hunts for his vanished partner, Dr. Teri Rodgers-Collins.
When Xavier leaves the bunker, he starts realizing there are a few ways that certain groups survived the collapse of civilization. Those episodes expand the narrative to show that the world beyond the bunker is larger, and perhaps exposes its inhabitants to as much, if not more, danger than they ever imagined.
Season 2 takes the show’s defining ethos, the fragility of hope in a tightly-controlled society, even further. While Season 1 was mainly focused on the unknown bunker, Season 2 is broader in scope, exploring the outside world as well as the emotional toll of living underground for years with returning cast, bigger world-building, and characters new and familiar. Season 2 of Paradise will try to go further down the mystery that at first shocked the audience, and up the ante for everyone involved.
