Jimmy Fallon reportedly roasted Katie Zacharia over new Donald Trump press secretary drama by playing a re-edited version of her 14-minute debut press briefing. While playing Katie's briefing footage, Fallon asked,

"Where did you pass the bar exam?"

Katie in the video revealed that she passed in 'The Western Hemisphere.' Soon after, the audience burst out in laughter. Fallon again asked her if she could explain more specifically, and Katie replied,

"In Venezuela."

According to The Wrap, Fallon started his show with a joke about the upcoming midterm elections and revealed that there were only 15 days left. He mocked Katie and said that this short period was equal to about three White House press secretaries.

Fallon then mentioned that Donald Trump had dismissed his new press secretary after only five days in the role. He mocked that it was a bad sign when the edible arrangement given on the first day of work was still fresh by the time the job ended.

Late-night laughs: Jimmy Fallon mocked Zacharia over Donald Trump's press secretary drama

In The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host made fun of Katie Zacharia after she was removed from her post by Donald Trump before the upcoming midterm election. While playing Katie's 14-minute debut press briefing clip, he mocked her and asked her where she passed the bar exam. In the video, Katie replied that she passed from 'The Western Hemisphere.' Fallon then made a deadpan reaction and asked,

"Can you be more specific?"

Katie replied in the video:

"In Venezuela."

Fallon again mocked her and asked where she got her license to practice law. Katie replied that she got her license from Amazon.

The audience burst out in laughter because Fallon's segment exaggerated Katie's answer in a deliberately absurd way. The humor came from the edited clip where her responses were nonsensical and impossible in real life. For example, 'The Western Hemisphere' reply from Katie was comically vague and meaningless.

The biggest punchline came when she claimed in the video that she got her license to practice law from Amazon, which is a shopping website rather than a legal authority.

Fallon's deadpan reactions combined with the ridiculous edits created a sharp contrast between the seriousness of a press briefing and the silliness of the responses.
